Amino Asylum GAC Extreme Review Research Guide

2026-03-29 · 14:17 · 3 min read

I've used a lot of Amino Asylum products over the years, and GAC Extreme is one I keep coming back to. This isn't a peptide. These are just amino acids that happen to be injectable. Some people swear they feel nothing from these. Others, myself included, get great results. Here's how I use it and what it actually does.

What's Actually In It

GAC Extreme is a blend of four amino acids, dosed per milliliter.

Glutamine (25mg/mL). Supports muscle recovery and growth, helps digestive health, reduces soreness, and curbs sugar cravings. I take this orally too, but injecting it is interesting.

Agmatine (50mg/mL). Enhances muscle pumps and nutrient delivery by modulating nitric oxide. This is the ingredient that gives you that full vascular pump in the gym. Once you experience it, lifting becomes addicting because you can actually see blood flowing through the muscle.

Arginine (50mg/mL). Boosts nitric oxide, blood flow, and nutrient delivery. Also supports hormone function and may bump growth hormone slightly. Another bonus, arginine helps lower blood pressure. If you're struggling with that, I'd try arginine before reaching for medication.

Acetyl-L-Carnitine (200mg/mL). Aids fat metabolism, reduces muscle damage, and gives you a real mental boost. The acetyl form is what makes the difference. You get focused. Phone goes away. You're 100% in the zone for the whole session.

How They Work Together

The four work synergistically for muscle growth, energy production, and fat metabolism. That's exactly what I'm in the gym for.

Both forms of carnitine convert fat into usable energy. Glutamine and carnitine together speed up recovery and reduce soreness. Arginine and carnitine improve blood flow and reduce fatigue during the workout itself. Glutamine also supports immune function, which matters when you're beating your body up in the gym.

What I Notice When I Use It

Better pumps. More reps at the same weight. Insane endurance.

You know that lull around 40 minutes into a hard session where you start to hit a wall? When I use this, that wall gets pushed out to maybe 70 minutes. I sweat more, feel like I burn more fat, and recover faster between sessions.

The carnitine alone puts me in a good mood for hours. Someone could cut me off in traffic and I'd just shrug it off.

How I Use It (Hypothetically)

This is for educational purposes only. Do not do this at home.

I take it 30 minutes before resistance training. I prefer it for lifting over cardio, since the recovery benefits matter more there.

Use a 28 gauge, half inch insulin syringe. I inject into delts or glutes. If I'm training upper body, I'll hit a delt. If I'm doing legs, I'll go glute. You can technically do this subcutaneously at smaller doses, but the volume gets too high for that once you're past 0.25 mL. Subq also gives you little lumps and pockets if you're lean.

Dosing protocol I recommend:

  • Start at 0.25 mL (25 units on an insulin syringe)
  • Titrate up 0.25 mL per week
  • Stop at 1 mL for most people

I've personally gone up to 2 mL pre-workout, splitting one mL into each shoulder. I'm 220 to 225 pounds depending on the time of year. For most people, especially women, 1 mL is a great ceiling.

Side Effects

Generally well tolerated. The main complaint is post-injection pain from the L-carnitine. You might also get mild nausea or a headache from the vasodilation, mostly from the arginine. If you take more than you're used to, vasodilators can give you a brief headache that fades in a few minutes.

There's no real tolerance buildup or antibody issue like with peptides. You can use this repeatedly and keep getting results. I still rotate it with other injectable pre-workouts because of cost and the post-injection pain.

Storage Tip

These don't ship refrigerated, but I store mine in the fridge once they arrive. The L-carnitine gets viscous when cold and harder to draw and inject. Run the vial under warm water for a few seconds before drawing, or run warm water over the loaded syringe. Makes the shot a lot smoother.

My Take

GAC Extreme is one of the best injectable pre-workouts I've used. The pumps, endurance, focus, and recovery are all noticeably better. The only real downside is you have to inject it, and the carnitine can sting after. That keeps me from running it every single day, but I rotate it in and out and it never disappoints.

If injecting amino acids isn't your thing, skip it. If you're already comfortable with that kind of protocol, this is a quality product that delivers what it claims.

Hey, everybody. This is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing wherever you are at in the world. Today's video is going to be my review of a product from Amino Asylum called Gak Extreme. So this is a project I've used. A lot of their products and on my old YouTube channel, I had a bunch of videos explaining how to use them and the benefits you could use. Uh, so today is my view of GAK Extreme, So I'm just going be kind of explaining this as a use guide of how you can use it. And this something again, it's not a peptide. It's just amino acids. They just happen to ones that you would inject. Um, It's kind of interesting cause I've done some reviews of amino asylum products and I heard some people say that it doesn't do anything or they felt

like it was useless. And then I have heard tons of people and myself included, I use them and get great results. So I think it just kind depends on the person. Uh, so this is by no means something for everyone, but, um, if you are interested in optimizing performance, especially pre-workout performance. I love this as an injectable pre workout because, uh, it helps me sweat more. It helps get a better pump and feel like I burn more fat. during my resistance training sessions and also retain muscle. So today I'm just going to be giving you my personal experience and review. I don't know where to buy amino acid on products. It don' know a code that you could use.

They would have my name on it to get them. But for people on my email list that are in the know, that's where you can kind of learn more about this stuff and kind expose yourself to it. Today I am just gonna give you kind an overview of what Gactrim is, how it works in body and then hypothetically speaking, uh, how you could, uh administer it and use it to get the full effect. So again, this is all for educational and entertainment purposes only. I recommend you do not get this product and you did not use. On yourself. Uh, I would strongly advise against that.

That being said, if you want the peptide cheat sheet, you can check out the link down the description. Um, see that below and sign up for that and they'll sign it up from my email list where, um, much of the self-censoring does not take place. And with that being, said I'm going to share my screen and we're going talk about GAC extreme from amino acidum today. All right, so this is going to be my review of amino asylums, GAC extreme. So what is it and how can we use it? So, what are the ingredients in GACH extreme? It's basically like glutamine. It has 25 milligrams and in dosages, these are milligrams per milliliter.

Each of these ingredients I'm about to list in one millilitre. That's how much of each ingredient there is. So it's got glutamine, 25 milligrams per milliliter, and glutamate is awesome. I take glutamin orally, but it is really cool to inject it too. Basically enhances muscle recovery and growth, supports digestive health, which we can all use, I think, it reduces muscle soreness and helps curb sugar cravings. And the GAC Extreme version, the next ingredient is agmatine. So it's got 50 milligrams of this, and this typically enhances muscle pumps and improves nutrient delivery through the modulation of nitric oxide synthesis.

Basically, more or less serves as a precursor to the production of Nitric Oxide, which again, when we're talking about pumps in the gym, we are talking getting that nice full vascular pump in a gym. When you experience that, it gets addicting to go to gym because you can look at yourself in mirror, you look yourself and just see the blood flowing through your muscle and see that muscle pump and it makes lifting fun. So that's why I love this. And then the next one is arginine. I loved argenine, again, another one that I can take worldly as well.

It's at 50 milligrams per milliliter, but arganine increases nitric oxide production, which enhances blood flow and nutrient delivery, supports hormone function and may boost growth hormone levels. Again, when we help nitro oxide products, we're going to get this whole host of downstream benefits and also, you know, I'm not going to rely on arginine for my growth hormone, but it's pretty cool that it does that and helps support hormone function. Also to another benefit of argenine, it helps reduce blood pressure. If that's something you're struggling with, I always tell people to turn to arganine first before you get any on blood-pressure medication or anything

like that. The next one is acetyl-L-carnitine. So I love L-Carnatine, obviously they talk about that. And then obviously this is the injected form. It's got 200 milligrams of aceto-l carnitene, which aids in fat metabolism, reduces muscle damage from training, enhances mood and cognitive function. The reason that aceton-ol carnotine works really well is because obviously you get the benefits of L carnatene. But in my experience, the acetol-o carnutine gives you that extra mental boost. That's really cool. When you're in the gym, you are really focused. You're not worried about checking your phone.

talking to people or anything like that. You're just 100% in the zone. And that's like, you know, the few times three or four times I'm in The gym training per week, I want to be totally present and totally focused on what I've doing. in this injection, if we're doing one milliliter, but basically it, uh, transports fatty acids into mitochondria for industry production, supports endurance and performance and may benefit heart health. Um, and I'm going to talk a little bit about, just my own experience and how that, how these help, um, you know, when taking pre-work.

So how do these work synergistically together? So here's kind of some benefits we're going to get. So they basically work to promote muscle growth, energy production, and efficient fat metabolism. I know for me, I don't know about you, but when I go to the gym, that's what I'm looking to do. Muscle growth produce energy and metabolize fat, burn fat. Um, when we look at energy production, both forms of carnitine are crucial for converting fat into usable energy, which enhanced overall vitality for life in general. Um. When we looked at muscle recovery, glutamine and carnatine together work synergistically support, uh, recovery post-exercise by replenishing essential

nutrients and reducing muscle soreness. So that's another thing that you're going to notice from this. We also have fatigue reduction. Arginine and Carnitin together, they synergies to help decrease fatigue by improving blood flow and energy available during workouts. And then finally, immune support. So added windfall benefit from this is that glutamine plays a critical role in immune function, but it's going to enhance overall health and resilience, you know, especially when we're talking about being fatigued from workouts, so. Here's some of the benefits, just kind of listing them out. So we've got enhanced muscle growth.

We're obviously going to be able to better grow muscle with this. And the cool thing about this is I know I talk about performance enhancing drugs, peptides, hormones, all that stuff. This is completely natural. All of these are just amino acids you can inject. I'm not telling you what is approved by WADA or your governing agency if you are drug tested. But all of these are ingredients that would be approved by those. I'm not telling you what to do. Again, don't do this at home. We also have improved fat loss. So ingredients assist in more efficient fat metabolism, which support weight loss efforts.

Uh, we're going to have more energy. Um, so supplementation can significantly boost overall energy, making workouts more effective, um, rapid absorption. When we inject these, opposed to orally, uh, getting quick absorption of nutrients and we are bypassing the digestive system, especially if it's pre-workout, you know, it Always easy to just throw a bunch of stuff down and have on your stomach during the workout. It's definitely going to help with endurance. So ingredients like carnitine improve physical endurance, allowing for longer and more intense training sessions. I 1000% can attest to this that when I use this before my workout, along with some of their other different products, if I'm using,

yeah, I kind of rotate through, but Uh, like my pumps are better. I'm, I get more reps at the same weight, you know, given my strength level or whatever time I've been working so that the endurance is insane when you're doing this. And you also too, don't like have that lull like typically that hits like 40 minutes into a workout where you kind of like, if you've really been pushing it, kind hit a wall. Um, that seems to be extended out, maybe to like the 70 minute work in my experience when I use this, We obviously have the workout recovery. So all the ingredients in here are going to help reduce muscle soreness and speed up recovery time between training sessions,

which again, it's the ultimate goal when we're talking about remodeling our brisique. Then there's immune system boost. Components like glutamine enhance the immune systems. There's the metabolic boost. So, arginine and carnitine together enhance our base metabolic rate, which can lead to more effective energy use and fat loss. Then we've got the improved mood and cognitive function from the carnatine. I have preached about this for a while, but carnotine is a very, very powerful, nootropic and mood enhancer. The days that I'll use carnutine before my cardio in the morning or even around my lifting session, Uh, you just feel good.

Like you feel like you're in a good mood and everything's going good and like, yeah, someone could cut you off in traffic and you like all that sucks for them, but I'm not going to be in bad mood. So, uh, lastly, Argentine and carnitine contribute to better heart health by improving blood flow and reducing oxidative stress. Again, like obviously cardiovascular disease is something that's very prevalent and more people just leaned on agents like these. They wouldn't have to seek other means, um, through pharmaceutical interventions. So as everyone's, uh, favorite part, the side effects and dosage, how to actually use GAC extreme.

Uh, now that I have pooh-poohed the benefits of it. So, um, in my experience, you know, it's generally well tolerated as far as side-effects go. If anything, carnitine does cause some post-injection pain, which I'm going to get to, but, Um, You may have a little bit of nausea, gas or headaches. And if the headaches, if you have the nauseas, typically from the vasodilatory effect of like the arginine and, potentially, well, probably much more the arginine than anything. But basically, anytime you take a vasodilator, if you'd take more than you're used to, you can get a little bit of a headache,

but it typically goes away in a few minutes. So what I personally do is I would use this 30 minutes before resistance training or fast cardio. I like them for both. With this, the GAC Extreme, I really liked it before resistant training, although I could use it for cardio, um, But I think just for like a, muscle recovery,I would save this for resistance Um, but again, with a needle, the L carnation can be painful. So I like a 28 gauge, one half inch insulin syringe, and I will do that into my delts or my glutes. A lot of times people ask me, can I do this subcutaneously?

Uh, in theory you could, it's just tricking me doing like, a decent amount. Um. so if you're starting off with like 0.25 ML, which is what I recommend, you can do sub cutaneously. But if he built up like me into like where sometimes I could do a whole. I don't want to do that subcutaneous. So there's just a lot to inject into my belly. And especially if you don' have that much belly fat, I can kind of give you like little bumps and turn into little pockets in your belly, or if I go right into muscle. I know it's being absorbed pretty fast.

The reason I do delts or glutes is if I'm training upper body, I like to do it in my delt. Typically feel like a little bit more of a pump in the site there. And then if i'm doing my gluts or iIm training legs, i'll do them like glute to get more up a pomp and, uh, seemingly more endurance in legs for leg workouts. I tend to go like higher reps and lower weight on my leg stuff now. But, um, what I would do for a dosage practice, would start with 0.25 ML, meaning 25 units on an insulin syringe. and I will titrate up by 0 .25 ml per week until I get to one ml. Um, for advanced users, you definitely could.

I would not recommend this by any means starting off. Uh, but for myself, I have used up to two ML, uh, pre-workout. So like one ML on one shoulder, one in the next order. The only bad side of that is like, didn't really get nausea or dizzy or anything, But again, built up that. If someone started off with that hybrid amount, the vasodilatory nature of it, it may cause you to just get like a little lightheaded or headache, nothing like dangerous or any thing. But, um, just kind of depending on, and I'm a big guy, I have 220, 225 pounds depending, on the time of the year.

So, you know, You can go up to that amount, but for most people, especially women started 0.25 mls titrate up by 0,25 ml per week. And then I think, one ml will be a good stopping place for you. Is there a potential for overuse? Not really. There's not a peptide, there's no real like antibody buildup or tolerance build up or anything. I can use this repeatedly and get pretty good results. typically I'm not going to just take this every single day for like months on end. I'll rotate between other products that are injectable pre-workouts or anything like that.

But obviously there's the cost consideration, you know, it's like becomes comprehensive at a certain point. And then what I personally do, so these will not come refrigerated as do most products. But after I get them, I will put them in the fridge just for safekeeping. Now, sometimes with the L-carnitine, that can be a little bit viscous and thick. And if it's in a fridge, it can a bit harder to withdraw out of the syringe and harder it to inject. So typically what you'll do is you can heat the vial up under just some warm water in your sink.

Or even if you just put it in syringes and then run some water over the To help, it just makes the injection a little bit easier and it doesn't feel as thick because sometimes when it gets cold, It gets a bit thicker. So that's just like very minute detail, but not necessary. I think that is it for the slide. And that my review of Gak Extreme from Amino Asylum. so I love this as an injectable free workout. It's amazing. it makes your workouts amazing, you just feel really good. You get that nice like full pump workout that just make you feel good, you have more endurance through the workout.

You definitely do not get sore after the work out and it just feels good. So the only downside to this is you gotta inject it. And so I think for some people, if they're not used to injecting, they are not going to do it if you're on my channel, probably cool with inject based on all the stuff that I talk about. Um, but yeah, I thinking that the downside is maybe the post injection pain from the carnitine, so you not gonna probably want to it every single day. Although I, think, you know, for me, it doesn't bother me that bad, right? where I could do it every single day, but it's just going to be one that I rotate more, more or less, uh, on and off, you know,

like maybe a week here, week there or whatever. But, um, no, it was an amazing product. I've only had good experiences with it. So again, this is strictly hypothetical educational and entertainment purposes only. Do not try this at home. I do not do what I say. Um, this is just, you know, like my own use case for it. So, um, hopefully that was helpful to you guys. If I left anything out as I tend to do sometimes, uh, drop a comment below and, or a question below. And remember, if I don't get to that, just know that I am working on putting together a Q and a videos on which I get through all of the comments and questions

that are asked down below, so I appreciate you much love. Don't forget to check out the link down and I will talk to in the next one. Peace.
