The Life-Changing Peptide Stack That Fixes The Gut

2026-04-08 · 19:59 · 4 min read

Gut health is one of the most important things you can control for overall health, anti-aging, and longevity. I've talked about pieces of this before, but I never put together a definitive gut repair stack on the channel. So here it is. These are the peptides I actually use when I want to repair and reinforce my gut.

Why Gut Health Matters

Before I get into the stack, let me frame why this is worth the effort.

About 70% of your immune system lives in the gut. A lot of autoimmune disease is rooted in gut issues. Clean up the gut and you address problems people have been chasing for years.

Nutrient absorption is the next big one. I always tell people the question isn't how much protein you eat. It's how much you absorb. A well-functioning gut handles digestion, nutrient partitioning, and energy production properly.

Gut health also drives inflammation regulation, mood, and hormone balance. The gut-brain axis is real. A lot of mood disorders aren't an SSRI deficiency. They're a gut problem. Many hormones are metabolized in some way through the gut, so this affects energy and metabolic health too.

Then you've got detoxification, longevity, and chronic disease prevention. Poor gut health is closely linked to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and autoimmune conditions.

One Important Caveat

This stack assumes you've already got the basics handled. You can't treat yourself like a dumpster fire and expect peptides to fix it. If you're not exercising, eating inflammatory food, drinking, sleeping poorly, these peptides won't save you. They sit on top of a clean lifestyle. They don't replace one.

BPC-157

This is the obvious starting point. BPC-157 is derived from a protective protein in our own stomach. It promotes angiogenesis, reduces inflammation, and helps repair damaged gut tissue, especially the intestinal lining.

A lot of toxins create micro tears in the gut lining. That's leaky gut. Toxins leak into the bloodstream and drive chronic disease. BPC-157 helps reverse that damage.

I dose 250 to 500 micrograms daily, subcutaneously into the stomach for localized healing. Inject around the area you want to heal.

Oral BPC works too, and I use it alongside the injection. But for me personally, when I have any gut irritation, I go straight to injectable BPC. It hits harder.

TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)

TB-500 is the synthetic version of thymosin beta-4, a protein involved in tissue regeneration. It promotes cell migration, reduces scar tissue, and supports gut lining regeneration alongside BPC-157.

It speeds recovery from inflammatory episodes and helps with conditions like Crohn's or ulcerative colitis by reducing fibrosis.

I use 2 mg once or twice weekly, subcutaneously into the stomach. You can also find one-to-one BPC/TB-500 blends if you want to simplify.

LL-37

LL-37 is derived from our own immune system. It's antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal because of how it enhances immune function.

It's effective against candida, yeast, and SIBO. It balances the microbiome, reduces inflammation, and improves IBD and IBS symptoms.

Start at 100 micrograms daily. You can titrate up to 400 to 500 micrograms in prolonged cases. I run it for three to four months until I see symptom resolution. Subcutaneous injection into the stomach.

Thymosin Alpha-1

Another immune modulator. Thymosin alpha-1 stimulates and rebalances the immune system, boosts immune cell function, and promotes a balanced microbiome.

It's ideal for autoimmune gut conditions like Crohn's. And almost every autoimmune issue is a gut issue at the root.

Dose is 0.5 to 1 mg subcutaneously, once or twice per week for ongoing immune support. Less than you'd use for active illness, but right for gut work.

KPV

A tripeptide with strong anti-inflammatory properties. KPV inhibits inflammatory pathways, soothes the gut lining, and promotes healing in IBD and other inflammatory conditions.

It pairs well with everything else in this stack. The injected and oral doses are similar. Start at 200 micrograms, go up to 500 micrograms daily, and run it until symptoms resolve.

I've used a lot of oral KPV. You won't feel an overwhelming change, but if you eat junk food while on it, your inflammatory response is noticeably less pronounced.

Tributyrin

This is an oral, stabilized form of butyrate, a short-chain fatty acid essential for colon health. Tributyrin fuels the cells in your colon, reduces inflammation, and balances the microbiome.

It strengthens the gut barrier, which is huge for anyone with leaky gut or inflammatory bowel issues.

500 mg daily in capsule form. Easy to add in. I love this one.

PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide)

A naturally occurring fatty acid that interacts with endocannabinoid receptors. It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

PEA leans more toward pain management. If you have stomach pain or even just chronic discomfort, this soothes it. It also helps modulate the immune system and supports gut lining integrity.

300 to 600 mg daily, oral capsule. You'll usually find it in 500 mg caps.

Larazotide

Larazotide is a synthetic peptide that regulates tight junctions in the gut lining. It prevents those junctions from opening, reducing gut permeability and keeping toxins out of the bloodstream.

Quick aside. Larazotide was studied heavily in human clinical trials and worked really well for celiac disease. From what I could gather, because peptides aren't very patentable, pharmaceutical companies shelved it. Patients had great responses, but the profit wasn't there. You can still source it from research companies if you know where to look.

It's effective for leaky gut, celiac disease, and gut permeability issues. 500 micrograms daily, oral capsule. Run it for at least 12 weeks. It's pricier, but I notice a difference when I use it.

My Take

Even if you're healthy, run this stack one to three times a year. We live in a modern world full of exposures we can't fully avoid. No matter how dialed in you are, your gut is under siege.

I personally do this a couple of times a year to maintain the integrity of my intestinal wall and gut lining. These aren't the only peptides that help with gut health, but this is the combination I keep coming back to. It works.

Hey everybody, this is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing wherever you are in the world. Today's video is going to be the gut repair peptide stack. So I've talked a lot about gut health. Talked a little about different peptides can help with good health, but I was reviewing it. And I didn't see anything that I had made on my new channel. That was really a definitive gut, health stack, and this was actually not as popular of a request as you would think, should be requesting this.

So that will be my stick in doing this video is that gut health is one of the most important, if not most, important thing that we can control when it comes to overall health, anti-aging and longevity, especially in light of everything our stomachs and guts are exposed to today. Not only for the benefit of gut itself, but for our brain and then all the downstream effects that come from having a good and abundant, prosperous gut But what I'm going to talk about today is some peptides that can help with gut health.

Now, these are going be primarily peptide focused. There are lots of other things outside of peptidies that I would do to maintain good gut heath. So what i want you to understand with this video is that you cannot treat yourself like a dumpster fire. You cannot not exercise. You can not even be taking a lot of other supplements like metformin or drugs or whatever that I would recommend. So there are many things leading up to this. I want this gut health repair stack to be one that you understand that there's a peptide stack in this video, but I want you to understand that these are

things that you can add on to everything else you would already be doing right. So my assumption in making this is that if you're using these, that everything is already under control, so you are not eating inflammatory foods, you aren't eating a bunch of sugar, alcohol, sleeping right, exercising, fasting, doing all those things, and then we can come in with these to really help with gut repair. So that's what this video is going to be about. As always, if you want to check out the Peptide Cheat Sheet, the link will be down in the description of this. If you wanna join the best community, check-out Fully Optimized Health. And then also, lastly, thank you to everyone who has been supporting the channel.

It's amazing to just get the overwhelming support from you guys. My book, Testosterone, The God Molecule, is now out on Amazon. I'm working on the audiobook. Hopefully, by the time this videos airs, I have more progress on that. But it should be, hopefully, within the next month or two that that audiobook is out. Without further ado, I'm gonna share my screen and today we're going to go into the best peptides to repair your gut. All right. I am Hunter Williams and this is the gut repair peptide stack. So let's jump into it.

What I wanted to do for first, before we get into these, just kind of frame the video a little bit better about why gut health is so important. Obviously everyone intuitively knows that, but let us look at it so immune system support is one of the first reasons. About 70% of our immune systems are actually housed in the gun, which means that healthy gut supports a strong immune response, reducing susceptibility to infections and diseases. And the reason I put that first is because a lot of times autoimmune disease is rooted in gut issues. A lot times, and when we look at curing a of these auto immune disease or chronic diseases that people just don't really have an answer for,

a lo of that can be addressed by the gut and cleaning up the Next is going to be nutrient absorption. I always tell people it's not about how much protein you eat or whatever about your macros. It's actually about much you absorb. So well-functioning gut enables efficient digestion and nutrient adsorption and ultimately nutrient partitioning, which is essential obviously for energy production, cell repair and overall vitality, longevity, health, anti-aging in general. Next, inflammation. Gut health is very closely tied to the amount of inflammation we have in our body and how well our bodies regulates that inflammation So basically,

the more balanced our gut is, we're going to be more efficient in reducing chronic inflammation, which is associated obviously with aging and many chronic diseases. Next big thing, and I think more people are aware of this now, but it's still kind of just less understood, is the mental health and mood regulation and basically the gut-brain axis. So the good brain connection affects mental, health, mood and our cognitive function. So healthy gut supports serotonin production, among other things, and reduces the risk of depression and anxiety. So a lot of times, the mood disorders that we have, they're not an SSRI deficiency problem.

They're more of a gut health problem We have hormone balance. A lot our hormones, I won't get into all of them, but a lof them are metabolized in some way, shape or form in relation to the gut. So this is obviously going to affect our mood, energy levels and metabolic health. We also have detoxification. Like I was saying, it's no secret we're exposed to toxins in the environment today at an unprecedented rate and the healthy gut helps filter and eliminate toxins and waste.

Preventing buildup can negatively impact liver function, overall wellbeing. A lot of times too, It's not even our fault necessarily, but our guts are under siege. um from all these things we don't really even have control over of even when we control everything we can control um then we have longevity and aging obviously that's why most of you guys are here um but a balanced microbiome supports healthy aging by improving resilience and uh against age-related diseases, maintaining metabolic health and flexibility and reducing oxidative stress. And then lastly, we just have chronic disease.

So poor gut health is very closely linked to lots of chronic diseases. Heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and diabetes obesity and autoimmune conditions. Um, so the healthier gut is the less susceptible we're going to be to any of those chronic diseases that seem to lurking around at all times in today's world. So let's go into the peptide. First one, then to the big secret, you know, BPC 157. Basically this is a peptides derived from a protective protein found in the stomach.

So BPC is actually in every one of our stomachs. Yes, it is in our gastric juices in stomach, so what does it do? It promotes angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels. It reduces inflammation, and it aids in repair of damaged gut tissues, especially helping heal the intestinal lining, What can happen is a lot of these toxins go in and they create micro tears in our gut lining, which causes the gut to become leaky, otherwise known as lekey gut. So what happens is we eat this food, there's toxins in the food tears the got lining and then those toxins leak out into the bloodstream and cause all

these chronic diseases. So that's where BPC 157 comes in. It can do a lot of repair around that. So it's useful for conditions like leaky gut and inflammatory bowel disease, which obviously sometimes is very closely linked to leky gut, if not the same thing. And this helps prevent stomach ulcers and supports the integrity of the gut lining and also the microbiome. Now the dosage, I would typically inject 250 to 500 micrograms daily every day until I start to see some symptom resolution.

Now, the question I'm sure I'll get is, Hunter, can I use oral BPC for good health? The answer is yes, absolutely. I will actually use it in conjunction with the injectable B PC, but I have noticed just my own life because guts health is something I've struggled with. Not now, longer stretches of time than I would care to admit in my life, um, for one reason or the other. And I have noticed that BPC injections again, will always be the oral capsules. I think the world cultures are good, but even to this day, if I ever have sort of any gut irritation or anything, I immediately go to inject PPC,

Um, into the stomach. The great thing is when you inject it into stomach, you know, there's localized healing effects with BTC. So you injected, You know for overall anti-inflammatory benefits into The stomach but I benefits more to inject around the stomach than other places. And obviously, if that's what you're using for, you inject in the something. So the next one is thymus and beta-4, AKA TB 500. This is a peptide mimicking a naturally-occurring protein involved in tissue regeneration, which is time of some beta 4. Long story short, TB-500 is the synthetic version of thimus in beta four.

Ultimately, we get a little bit better response to TB500 than we do time some data four, depending on what the goal is. But it works to promote cell migration, reduce scar tissue, and support regeneration of the gut lining alongside VPC-157. So this speeds recovery from inflammatory episodes and conditions like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis by reducing fibrosis and enhancing healing. And what I would do with this, now I'm talking about this in isolation. You can obviously find one-to-one blends of VBC and TB 500 to which you can use at your discretion.

But what I would do is use two milligrams once or twice weekly. Now you could do this subcutaneously around the gut. I had intramuscularly on there, but that's really just for the purposes of healing injuries in certain locations. So obviously the ultimate goal is gut health. And you would inject it sub-cutaniously into the stomach and you do two milligram once, or once a week in order to get the best benefit from that. The next one is going to be LO37. I'm a huge fan of LO 37. It's basically a peptide derived from our own immune system known for antimicrobial and immune modulating properties.

So basically it enhances our immune response within the gut, combating harmful bacteria and pathogens while reducing inflammation. A lot of times, basically think about LO-37 is a antimicrobial peptide, so it's antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal because of the way it enhances our immune system. And in doing so, it is very effective against a lot of these things like candida, yeast, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. So it helps with those infections. It balances the microbiome, reduces inflammation and improves symptoms in IBD and IBS.

And, uh, dosing wise, I would start with 100 micrograms daily. I think you can ultimately I've titrated up to like 400 to 500 micro grams, um, as I have used it, especially like in prolonged cases where you're looking to heal the gut. Um, so I started a hundred micro-gram. If you were a bigger person, you could start And again, this is one, I wouldn't stay on this all year long, but I would do it until I have symptom resolution, probably up until like three or four months. You know, it can be injected. There are other formulations, by my preference and go to is a subcutaneous injection into the stomach, which is what I'll do.

Next one is going to be another immune modulating peptide, Which is thymus and alpha one. So basically this, is an immunomodulatory peptides. that helps stimulate and activate the immune system and modulate it, which just means to bring it back into balance. But it basically works to boost immune cell function, modulated inflammation, and promote a balanced gut microbiome as well. It's ideal for autoimmune gut conditions. So there's things like Crohn's, all sorts of other like auto immune gut issues. And thymusinophil-1 works really well in the context of those auto-immune conditions, But it helps modulate that immune system response,

reduce inflammation and maintain a healthy gut flora or gut bacteria. And what I would do is 0.5 to one milligrams injected subcutaneously once or twice per week for ongoing immune support. So obviously it's probably a little bit less than you would use if you were sick or trying to stave off any sort of pathogen or anything like that for just overall sickness purposes, but for gut health. That's my recommended dose. And it works wonders, especially a lot of times in those case of autoimmune issues, which almost all the time is a gut issue problem.

So next one is going to be KPV. Let's look at KP, I love KP. I've used the oral version of it. Tripeptide with strong anti-inflammatory properties, Which is helpful for gut inflammation. KPB inhibits inflammatory pathways in the body, soothing the gut lining and reducing inflammatory symptoms. It also relieves gut inflammation, promotes healing in inflammatory bowel disease and other inflammatory conditions and pairs well with some of these other peptides that we're going to be doing in the stack.

Now what I would do is if you're gonna use it, the injected and oral dose is around the same. I'd start with 200 micrograms and you could go up to like 500 micro grams daily and just do that again until you really see symptom resolution. This one's amazing. I've taken a lot of oral KPV and it works really well. Um, obviously if you have a healthy gut, you don't notice it as much, but if, y'know you ever eat junk food or anything like that, um, You can tell that you just have like a less pronounced inflammatory response to it.

So, I love KP V for that reason. And, uh, it does a really good job. It's not like an overwhelming sense of change. But I think alongside, alongside some of these other peptides, It works. Really well, Uh, next one is going to be tributrin. So this is an oral peptide, uh, or I'm not, I may be missed by speaking on that, but basically it's a stabilized form of butyrate, which is a short chain fatty acid essential for colon health. Tributrin provides butyrite to the gut, Which fuels cells in the colon, reduces inflammation and promotes a balanced microbiome.

Um, and what this one specifically is doing is gonna strengthen the Gut Barrier. which obviously supports a healthy gut microbiome and is particularly beneficial for individuals with leaky gut, which again, a lot of times when we have these stomach problems, that's, you know, the culprit or inflammatory bowel conditions. And what I like is 500 milligrams, not micrograms, milligrams typically available in capsules taken daily. So if I get that, usually when I'm taking 500mg in a capsule works really well. I love taking Tributrin.

You know, and even, well I'll talk about that later when we just sum everything up. So the next one is, I'm not even going to begin to try to pronounce this, but it's PEA for short. PEa is the abbreviation. But basically this is a naturally occurring fatty acid that helps modulate inflammation and pain in the body. So PEA interacts with endocannabinoid receptors and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects supporting gut health by reducing pain and inflammation. So this is obviously much more along the pain management side of things.

If you're experiencing stomach pain, which most of the times in stomach health issues, even if it's not like a overwhelming pain. It's like discomfort. And this really kind of helps like soothe the gut. I noticed that when I've used it, but it is useful for pain-management, helps modulate the immune system. and can assist in maintaining gut lining and integrity, which if we're doing all these other things is gonna help a lot. And what I recommend is 300 to 600 milligrams daily taken orally as a supplement. A lot of times you'll see like 500 milligram capsules that you can get of PEA, but I love it.

It works well. And again, that's like not such something that is going to have an overwhelming response for, it works really well and the last one in the stack, we make it to lorazetide. So this is a synthetic peptide that regulates tight junctions in gut lining, helping to prevent and treat leaky gut. That basically prevents the opening of tight junction, reducing the herniability of the gut lining and preventing toxins from entering the bloodstream. Um, if you want my opinion, I'll take an aside real quick. The risotide was being studied in a lot of clinical trials and humans.

And from what I could gather from reading on it is that basically it worked really well to help people with celiac disease. But I think because of a nature of it being a peptide, my understanding is it was not very patentable. If that's a word, but basically was it not something that was going to have a ton of profit potential for pharmaceutical companies, so they kind of shelved it, but people got really great responses on it. So it's now one that you can, you know, source if you're resourceful from research companies. But it works really well.

I've used it a lot and I love it but again, this is really more in the context of celiac disease, which I think if look at anyone with gut health issues, usually that's an issue, just being able to tolerate gluten. That's a whole nother discussion about gluten of like, whether it's actually gluten or glyphosate that's really causing the issue. Or if the gluten species is different than the glutton species, you know, like our ancestors would have eaten. But anyway, it is effective for those with leaky gut, celiac disease and gut permeability issues. which helps reduce inflammation and protect the intestinal lining.

And dosage wise, this one is an oral capsule and I would recommend 500 micrograms taken daily. Um, and would just use that for at least probably 12 weeks. If you can afford it, it's a little bit more pricey, but it works really good. Again, I'm not going to say you're going sit here and like sit and say, you have like an overwhelming response to it. But I do notice something is better and something as different when I use lorazetide. So, To sum all that up, I just put it in a little chart here. So if you guys want to screenshot this or whatever, we've got BPC 250 to 500 micrograms daily, TB 500, two milligrams once or twice a week.

Those are both subcutaneous injections. We've 100 to 200 micrograms daily, and that's an injection as well. We've got thymus and alpha 1.5 to 1 milligrams once or twice weekly, subcutaneous injection with that. Uh, we've gotta KPB, KPV 200 to 500 micro grams daily. And that could be an ejection or oral. Ah, We got tributrin, which is 500 milligrams daily in a capsule. Um, you got PEA, Which is 300 or 600 milligrams, daily and a Capsule. and we got finally lorazetide, wich is five hundred micro-gram daily capsules.

So that is it for the slides. And that is the gut repair peptide stack. So it is not, uh, I would say, um, the end all be all there's other ones out there that do help with good health. But if I was working on my own gut, those are ones that I will stack together to get the best results in my opinion. From everything I've tried on myself, I will say what I was holding from the slides is that I know that even if you are healthy,

this is something you want to do probably one to two, maybe even three times a year where you're just using these peptides. in combination with each other to optimize gut health. I think, again, to live in the modern world, there is a lot that we cannot necessarily control our exposure to. Everyone can control anything, but I there's just so much we can't really control if you want to life in modern the world. This is something that everyone just to increase basically the integrity of the intestinal wall and the gut lining that it would behoove all of us to do

regardless of how healthy or optimized we are a couple times or maybe even three times a year. So that's what I personally choose to do is I will use all of those together a couple of times a year, just to maintain and Uh, ensure that I have the highest functioning, um, gut lining and gut wall and everything. So, uh, that's my opinion, but, do do what you will. Let me know your feedback on this one, guys. I mean, if it was helpful or if you've experimented with any of these had success or failures or whatever it is. Um, always remember too, there is a link in all the videos that you can submit a question.

you have, you can drop that there, and I do my best to answer all of those in the Q&A videos. So that's it. I appreciate you guys. Much love. And again, before I close out, thank you so much. Every day, I'm so grateful to have the privilege and opportunity to do what I Whatever way it is that you support me, thank you so much. It means the world to me. And I take that really seriously, and I insure you and promise you that this is very serious. So I think that without most, you know, seriousness when I make these videos and bring content to you guys to do the best.

I appreciate you, guys. Much love, I will talk to in the next one. Peace.
