Ultra Instinct From Amino Asylum Game Changer For Endurance And Focus
Amino Asylum has a relatively new product out called Ultra Instinct, and I've been using it consistently for a few weeks now. It's an injectable blend aimed at endurance, focus, and cellular energy. Here's what's in it, how I dose it, and what you can actually expect.
What's in Ultra Instinct
Ultra Instinct is an injectable supplement built around four ingredients delivered straight to the bloodstream for better bioavailability than oral versions.
The formula per milliliter:
- Choline chloride, 4 grams
- Carnosine, 4 grams
- ATP, 800 mg
- AMP, 100 mg
That's a hefty dose of choline and carnosine, which I think is part of why this one hits the way it does.
Choline chloride
Choline is a precursor to acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter tied to memory, mood, and muscle control. It also supports liver function and helps prevent fat accumulation in the liver.
Oral choline absorption is mediocre. Injecting it skips the digestive tract and gets it into circulation fast, which matters during hard training or demanding cognitive work.
The benefits I'd expect from the choline alone are sharper memory, better mental clarity, liver support, and improved muscle coordination.
Carnosine
Carnosine is a dipeptide of beta-alanine and histidine. Don't confuse it with carnitine. Its job is buffering acid in the muscle, which delays fatigue during high-intensity work. It's also a solid antioxidant.
Same story with bioavailability. Oral carnosine gets degraded in the gut, so you need much larger doses to feel anything. Injected, it actually reaches the muscle.
You get delayed muscle fatigue, better recovery, less soreness, and protection against oxidative damage.
ATP and AMP
ATP is the energy currency of the cell. It powers muscle contractions, nerve impulses, basically every physiological process. Oral ATP supplements are mostly useless in my experience because they degrade before getting anywhere.
AMP is an ATP precursor. Injected, it converts quickly into ATP and gives you a fast energy bump.
Together they support energy production, endurance, and cellular function.
How they work together
The combination is what makes this product. Choline supports neuromuscular signaling. Carnosine buffers fatigue. ATP and AMP keep your cells fueled.
The result is sustained performance across a full workout instead of one quick burst.
My dosing protocol
Use a 30 gauge half-inch insulin needle. You could go 28 or 31, but 30 is the sweet spot since this is water-based.
Start with 0.25 ml intramuscular, 30 to 60 minutes before fasted cardio or resistance training.
Titrate up by 0.25 ml if you tolerate it well. I don't see a need to go over 1 ml per day.
Once you're past 0.5 ml, inject bilaterally. Half in one delt or glute, half in the other. Don't push a full ml into one muscle.
Do this intramuscularly. I tried it sub-q out of curiosity and it burned and gave me a weird stomach feeling. IM is cleaner with no post-injection pain.
What I actually felt
The mental focus at the gym was the standout for me. A lot of guys focus on pump and strength, which is fine. But the ability to mentally lock in on contracting a muscle through full range matters a ton for hypertrophy.
I could close my eyes and feel the fiber contracting in a slow, controlled way. That's what drives growth.
I also got way better endurance on positive sets. On average I'd say 5 to 7 extra reps per set at the same weight. I felt like I could just keep going.
The other thing I noticed is it takes the governor off your central nervous system. Normally about 30 minutes into a hard session your CNS starts to fatigue, coordination drops, focus slips. On Ultra Instinct, an hour into my workout I still felt as sharp and coordinated as I did in the first 10 minutes.
Mood was also solid. I just felt good on the days I used it.
A few warnings
Depending on the dose, this stuff can amp you up. The first time I used it I had a brutally busy work week, and while it helped me perform, it pushed me a little past where I wanted to be. Almost like one too many cups of coffee.
If you train at night, be careful. Working out at 8 or 9 PM and then trying to sleep shortly after probably won't go well. It's not caffeine, but it's stimulating in its own way.
Use some discretion and you'll be fine.
Stacking ideas
Ultra Instinct isn't really a pump product. It's endurance, energy, focus, and contraction quality. So pairing it with something like Monster Pump for the pump side could be great. I haven't done it yet, planning to try it tomorrow.
I have stacked it with L-carnitine and that combo was excellent.
My take
This is easily one of Amino Asylum's top 3 to 5 products in my book. It's become part of pretty much every training session for me right now. Even if you're not training hard, it works as a clean mental and physical pick-me-up for productive work. Go IM, start low, respect the stimulation, and you'll get a lot out of it.

Hey everybody, this is Hunter Williams. I hope you were doing amazing wherever you are at in the world today. relatively new one from them. It's called Ultra Instinct. And I really, really like this one. So today what I want to do is just outlay what it is, how I personally use it and what you can kind of expect from it as well as the dosing protocol and
everything I recommend. So that's what today's gonna be about. It'll be pretty short and sweet, but as always, I can't link to certain products because it may or may not put my channel at risk. So for all the products and stuff, guys, like you know the deal, it's on the email list. You can sign up for the e-mail list down below. I send out video or emails when I have new videos and then also just informative emails throughout the week. Check that out, but this will be your reference guide for how to use this product called Ultra Instinct. And it's pretty powerful and something that I have really been enjoying lately.
So what I'm going to do is share my screen and we're going walk through the slides. But first, as always, check out the Peptide Cheat Sheet down below. If you love this stuff, checkout Fully Optimized Health, where it is the premier biohiking community on the planet and where we are always sharing our knowledge and insights with each other. And then lastly, one thing I've been doing lately is if this video gets 500 likes, I will take my slides, which in this case will be really useful because they are a reference guide for this product that you can have and have for like dosing and everything like that.
So if it's 500 of likes I'll make sure to create like a little link that can download this from in the comments without having to submit your email or anything like. That so without further ado, let's hop into it and learn about Ultra Instinct from Amino Asylum. All right, I am Hunter Williams, and today this is gonna be a review of Amino Asylum's Ultra Instinct products. So what is this thing? Basically, Ultra's Instict is a cutting edge injectable supplement crafted with precision to enhance endurance, muscle recovery, mental clarity, clarity and cellular energy production.
The ingredients of this, which I'm gonna walk through the amounts, they include choline, carnosine, ATP and AMP. Those are the four ingredients. And unlike oral supplements, Ultra Instinct delivers these via injection directly in the bloodstream for maximum bioavailability and rapid results. So what are the ingredients? So first one, we have choline chloride at four grams per milliliter. That's actually a pretty hefty dose. And I will explain why that is. in a second, but I really like that aspect of this. Also has carnosine, not to be confused with carnitine.
It has carnosine at four grams per milliliter. Then it has ATP, obviously the body's energy currency at 800 milligrams per millimeter. And finally AMP at 100 milligrams So let's walk through these ingredients and why they matter. So choline chloride is an essential nutrient that plays a crucial role in brain function, liver health, and muscle movement. And more importantly, it is a precursor to acetylcholine, which is neurotransmitter involved in memory, mood, muscle control. I will get to that in my personal experience of why that is so powerful.
But it's also vital for liver function helping prevent fat accumulation in the liver, Uh, in the case of something like fatty liver disease or non-alcoholic fatty, liver, disease, uh, and supporting overall detox process in body. So, Uh. In the. Absorbability and bioavailability, you can take oral choline, but oral supplementation of cholene can be limited by poor absorption in the digestive tract, leading to suboptimal levels in bloodstream. However, if we use injectable cholin chloride, it bypasses the digest system and ensures higher availability and immediate availability for the body to use,
particularly in high-demand situations like intense workouts or cognitive tasks. So overall, it's just going to enhance cognitive function, improve memory and mental clarity. It's going support liver health and detoxification, and it also improves muscle control and coordination, which is crucial for athletes around the world. Next is going to be carnosine. So carosine I talked about, I'm sure in some of the other amino acid products, but it's a dipeptide composed of beta alanine and histidine known for its
ability to buffer acid in the muscles, which reduces fatigue during high intensity exercise. Even more importantly, it acts as an antioxidant which protects cells from damage caused by free radicals and also promotes healthy aging. And when we look at availability via injection, it's obviously taken directly into the bloodstream, which ensures higher concentrations actually reach our muscles, whereas most needed during physical exertion and oral supplementation often requires much larger doses to achieve the same effect.
due to the degradation in the digestive system. So primarily, carnosine is going to delay muscle fatigue so we can work out for longer and work harder. It's going enhance recovery after those workouts by reducing muscle soreness and oxidative stress. And it also is gonna help support healthy aging by protecting cells from oxidant damage. Sign me up for some carnisine. Next is going to be ATP. So ATP is adenosine triphosphate. ATP, is a primary energy carrier in cells and it provides the necessary energy for nearly all physiological functions, including muscle contractions,
nerve impulses and biochemical synthesis. Um, ATP supplementation can help increase energy levels, reduce fatigue and improve exercise performance. And there are oral ATP supplements I've seen out there, but they're generally pretty ineffective in my experience due to poor absorption and rapid degradation in the digestive tract. And when we inject it, it delivers directly to the cells, ensuring our body has the energy it needs when and where it's required. So overall ATP basically is going to increase energy levels, obviously, reduce fatigue, improve performance and endurance and support cellular function
and vitality. And lastly, we have AMP, which is adenosine monophosphate. Basically, this is an ATP precursor. It plays a role in energy metabolism and cellular signaling. So it helps regulate the energy balance in cells and is involved in activation of key metabolic pathways that enhance energy production and muscle contraction. So when we inject AMP, it's rapidly converted into ATP, which provides a quick boost of energy, enhances metabolic processes.
And obviously injections are just always going to be more effective and allows the body to utilize them more efficiently. Very similar to ATP. It's going boost energy enhance muscle strength and support metabolic health and efficient energy utilization. So when we look at all of these together, so all that sounds amazing. Like I said, sign me up. What do they do together? So they work synergistically. When choline and carnosine, ATP and AMP are combined, they create a powerful formula that optimizes physical and mental performance.
So, enhanced acetylcholine production from choline supports neuromuscular coordination, while carnosine's buffering capacity delays fatigue, allowing for sustained effort and contraction of the muscle, which I'll get to in a second. But ATP and AMP work together to ensure your cells are fueled with energy they need to perform at their best, leading to improved performance, faster recovery, and sharper cognitive function, for performance over the entirety of a workout instead of just one quick burst of energy. They work really well together. So here's my protocol.
Basically what I would do is use a 30 gauge, you could probably use the 31 gauge too. You could use it 28 gauge but 30 is going to be more of sweet spot because this is water-based. I personally use 30-gauge half-inch insulin needle And what I would do is start with a 0.25 ml injected intramuscularly 30 to 60 minutes before fasted cardio or resistance training. I'll talk about my experience in a second with that, but basically from there, you can titrate by 0 .25ml, assuming that does well for you.
And in my experiences, there's no need to really go over one ml total for the day per day. After you get to 0.5 ml, what I would do is inject bilaterally. So I wouldn't do one ml straight into my delt or straight to my glute. I will do half, so 0,5ml into one and another half or 0.,5mL into another one. And then just be advised, I'm going to talk about this in a second, but it does amp up your nervous system. Use discretion. In my experience, it gave me amazing focus at the gym.
Now a lot of people are all about the physical benefits of the gym, you know, like pump and strength and everything. That's great. But when we talk about training to positive muscle failure, having the mental capability to focus on squeezing and contracting the muscle is huge in terms of hypertrophy and growth. So I noticed a much better ability to contract muscle fiber consciously, meaning that I was almost like able to like see when I could close my eyes,
Uh, thyroid contracting, uh, and doing it in a very precise, slow and controlled way, which ultimately for our growth is going to be better. Um, I also noticed incredible endurance for those positive muscle fibers. So I was definitely able to get probably. you know, on average, five to seven more reps per set of what I would use to be getting for the same weight for an exercise. Um, so it was amazing for that. Like I just felt like I could go forever. I did notice it takes the governor off of my central nervous system. So if you kind of look at a workout, like typically like 30 minutes in your nervous, system is going to start to fatigue,
especially if your doing like a positive muscle failure workout. And typically that's, we're going to lose a little bit of coordination. We're gonna lose little focus. And even though they were there still training, um, the central nervous system gets fatigued. I noticed that like one hour into my workout, which is towards the end of a strength training session, I felt the same coordination and control over my muscles via my nervous. As I usually would with like in the first 10 minutes, Which is like kind of like when you're most energized in It definitely did that, which was great. So also to, you know, depending on the time of the day you work out, your mood in my experience is usually good.
Like I just felt really, really good on all the days I've done this. I would say it's good for mood. And even if you're not, training like a maniac if you just want to be in a better mood it's something that you can definitely use to do so and just give yourself more energy. Then depending on the dose it can amp you up too much which could interfere with sleep or compound with life related stressors. So when I first started using this I was I had a very, very busy week of work. So I noticed it kind of, it wasn't terrible because I kind needed to be more high for high performance at work, but it did kind like push me into the zone
of where I was just like a little too amped. You're not feeling really like, a, little, too much caffeine, A little bit too, much stimulation. Um, so is that, and I would say if you're working out at night, you know, if, working on like eight or nine o'clock at, night and you want to go to bed shortly thereafter, uh, just be careful because it can, kind of wake you up. It's not the same as caffeine in that sense, but it definitely just like kind makes you amped. So, um, and probably if you're taking it that late, it's going to interfere with sleep. I'll just say, be aware of that. But, if, you know what you are doing and you, using discretion, should be fine.
Um, but I love this. I mean, it was, I'm using it pretty much like every time I train now, um, and it's amazing. And, uh, you know, feel really good. There's no post injection pain. You definitely want to do this intramuscularly. Don't do it sub cue. Uh, tried it so cute to see how it would do and just kind of burned and gave me like a little, a, little bite and little like. not in my stomach. It was kind of annoying. And it wasn't super painful, but I think it's just way better intramuscularly and much less pain. So that is it for the slides. That is my personal review of Ultra Instinct from Amino Sodom.
I would put this up there as probably like one of their top three to five products for sure. You know, it's different from some of the more like pump focused products that really work on like pumping your muscles. I wouldn't say this one does that so much, as much as it gives you endurance, energy and stamina to be able to focus and really focus on contraction throughout the entirety of your workout. Um, so I'd say that's where this comes in. Uh, you could potentially mix this with something like a monster pump for like the pump effects of the monster bump and then the focus and,
uh, contraction effects. I haven't done that yet. Mix it with L carnitine. And it was really good, um, as well, but, I'm not with monster help yet, and I'll probably try that actually tomorrow. So, we'll see how that goes, But, Um I really love this one. Can't recommend it highly enough. Um And also too, what I love about it is not only do I get the benefit of workout, I feel really good and get a lot of productive work done. So even if you're not training super hard at the current stage of your life, this could be used for definitely like mental and physical energy pickup.
Again, if this video gets 500 likes, I'll make sure to post the slides that you can download without signing up with your email. And then if I left anything off, This is typically my structure of how to do the reviews for Maminosome. But if I left anything off, definitely drop a comment and let me know, and I'll try to correct those up and make sure they get fixed on that comment. So, appreciate you guys, much love, And I will talk to you in the next one. Peace.
