My Experience with Vesugen Blood Flow Performance Anti-Aging

2026-03-29 · 19:31 · 4 min read

Vesugen is a peptide bioregulator that works specifically on the blood vessels in your body. Out of all the bioregulators I've used, this one is more versatile and has a more noticeable feel effect than most. I've been running it for the past three or four weeks, and I want to walk you through what I've experienced and what the research actually shows.

What I've Noticed Personally

Since I've been on Vesugen, my cardio has been a different animal. I literally do not get tired.

When I'm working out, the pump feels similar to taking Cialis with an injectable pre-workout. Maybe not quite that strong, but it's right there. On the bike, the stairs, or the elliptical, I'm going longer and burning more calories according to the machine.

I also noticed more penile sensitivity. Not to get graphic, but it's above and beyond everything else I'm already doing to stay optimized. So there's definitely a vascular benefit showing up in multiple places.

What Vesugen Actually Is

Vesugen is a small tripeptide with a molecular weight of around 390.4 daltons. Because of its short amino acid structure, it can be used orally, but I think the injectable version is stronger.

It originally came from a product called Ventfort, which is an extract from bovine material. Ventfort is the oral version and pairs well with Vesugen. I've used both, and Vesugen gave me more of the performance benefit.

It was one of six peptide preparations approved for medical use in the Soviet Union back in the 80s and 90s, so we have decades of data on it.

How It Works

Vesugen penetrates cell membranes and localizes to the nucleus, where it interacts with DNA and modulates gene expression without altering the sequence.

Here's what it does in plain English.

It stimulates endothelial cell renewal, which means it heals the lining of your blood vessels and brings them closer to a more youthful state. It promotes nitric oxide dependent vasodilation, reduces vascular resistance, and improves tissue perfusion.

It also has anti-atherosclerotic effects by inhibiting lipid peroxidation of LDL, which can slow plaque development. Plus it stabilizes cell membranes and upregulates SIRT1, which is tied to longevity.

On top of that, it modulates the immune system, supports lymphocyte and stem cell proliferation, and has neuroprotective effects in Huntington's and Alzheimer's models.

Cardiovascular Applications

Clinical observations show that adding oral Vesugen to standard therapy led to fewer angina attacks and reduced cardiac arrhythmias. Patients had more stable rhythms and better exercise tolerance.

In older patients with hypertension, combining Vesugen with antihypertensive drugs prolonged remission between hypertensive crises and lowered cholesterol and VLDL levels.

If you want to stack it, Cardiogen is the heart bioregulator and pairs well with Vesugen.

Peripheral Artery Disease and Neuropathy

I get questions about peripheral neuropathy all the time. ARA-290 is great for that, but Vesugen is something more people are going to find out about in the next year or two.

Vesugen has been tested in patients with lower limb ischemia from atherosclerotic peripheral artery disease, with significant improvement in blood flow and faster recovery. It's also used after revascularization surgery like bypass to improve leg blood flow and relieve intermittent claudication.

Erectile Dysfunction

A study on patients with atherosclerosis-related ED found Vesugen therapy led to marked improvements in penile arterial inflow and erectile function by treating the underlying vascular insufficiency.

Most ED has a psychological component, but the physical side is almost always insufficient blood flow to the area. If that's something you struggle with, Vesugen could help.

Microcirculation and Thick Blood

Vesugen plays a unique role in capillary weakness and microvascular disorders. In geriatric practice, it's been effective for easy bruising in the elderly. It increases capillary wall resistance and improves skin capillary status.

For guys dealing with high hematocrit and high hemoglobin, I'd absolutely add Vesugen in to help bring that down. I do tons of cardio so I don't have that issue, but for someone with thicker blood, this could be useful.

Brain and Cognition

Vesugen improves cerebral microcirculation, which means better oxygen and nutrient delivery to brain tissue. That supports brain function and may help prevent vascular cognitive decline.

A study combining Vesugen with Pinealon enhanced memory, attention, and thinking in people working in hazardous conditions. Faster reaction times, better mental capacity. I've used both peptides separately but never together. I want to run that combo at some point.

Anti-Aging Evidence

This is where Vesugen earns a spot in any longevity protocol.

In a study of 32 patients ages 41 to 83 with chronic conditions, oral Vesugen produced significant rejuvenation of biological age markers, improved CNS function, better metabolism, and improved cardiovascular metrics.

In late-passage human mesenchymal stem cells, Vesugen produced a two to three-fold reduction in senescence markers compared to controls. The cells maintained a more youthful morphology and stayed proliferative.

In vascular tissue explants, Vesugen-treated samples showed 24% greater microvessel growth, and the effect lasted at least seven days.

Dosing Protocol

Get a 20 mg vial of Vesugen. Add 2 ml of bacteriostatic water. That gives you 10 mg per ml, so 10 units (0.1 ml) equals 1 mg.

You could go as low as 0.5 mg per day. I like 2 mg per day. Sub-Q or intramuscular both work. Sub-Q is more convenient, but I think IM gives you a bit more of the performance effect.

Run it for 30 to 60 days. I'd cycle it two to three times per year.

What's cool about bioregulators is the effects tend to stick around for months after you stop, unlike a lot of peptides that wash out fast.

Side Effects

There aren't really any. These bioregulators degrade into amino acids. Even if you injected ten bottles in a row, you're probably not going to harm yourself. Sometimes they sting a little going in. No documented allergic reactions or immune issues. Just get quality peptides from a good source.

My take

Vesugen is one of the more versatile bioregulators and one I think almost anyone benefits from. Young, old, in shape, out of shape, the cardiovascular and longevity effects are real and I felt them. A year's supply runs $150 to $200, so the cost-to-benefit ratio is excellent. If you've already got your bases covered and you're asking what to add to your longevity protocol, this is one of the first peptides I'd reach for.

Hey everybody, this is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing. Wherever you are in the world, today's video is going to be about a peptide bioregulator known as Vessagen. So Vesagen works specifically on the blood vessels in a body, and this a really, really cool peptid. And I'm excited to do this video today. You know, when you dive into these peptides bi oregulators, there's a use case for all of them. I think depending on your situation, whether you're someone that needs to lose a ton of fat or you an athlete that's looking for performance enhancement, Vestigen is one of these ones that is going to be much more versatile.

And I will have much of a profound feel effect than some of the other ones. Again, You look at something like pancreas or you're necessarily going to feel anything from that. Maybe if you have type 2 diabetes, if your pretty healthy, you know, and you had a healthy pancreatic, I don't know that you are necessarily gonna feel that other than just making sure that your pancrias is reflective of a more youthful state, which it will do. Now, when we look Vestagen, i've used Vesagen pretty extensively in myself and I played around with the dosing. Don't worry, ill talk about that in this video where you can skip to the time stamp with dosage on it.

I will say Vestigen is definitely one that you feel. And I'll just give you like my own personal experience as a teaser. Since I've been using Vesigen, and I'm actually using it right now as I was filming this video, it's probably been three or four weeks that I been it, I am almost cycled off of it. Man, I mean there is when I do cardio I Do not get tired and when i'm working out It's very similar because I wanted to see what it felt like in terms of how my pump was it's Very similar to taking cialis and an injectable pre-workout.

Maybe not that strong but almost right there with that feeling So there definitely is a performance enhancement benefit for me. I noticed probably more in my cardio and for that. And I'm very well cardiovascularly conditioned, but I've just noticed, man, like when I am doing the bike or the stairs or elliptical, I literally do not get tired. I usually read when i'm doing my long cardio on non-training days, well I read on my cardio that I do after I lift weights, which is usually like 20 minutes or so after i train. but I just don't get tired. And that's a really cool feeling because it's like, man, I'm going and I am burning more calories according to the machine than I would.

So anyway, that is what we are going to talk about today. Hopefully that was a good teaser for you. A little bit more long-winded than normal. But before I share my screen, don' forget the peptide cheat sheet down in the description. Make sure that if you have questions or video suggestions, you also drop that down in the description. There will be a link for that where you can fill out a form and send that to me. And then also to join fully optimized health is the best private community on the planet to network with like-minded people and talk about these topics. So without further ado, I'm going to share my screen and today we're going learn about messaging.

All right, I'm Hunter Williams, and today we're going to be learning all about Vessagen, which is the blood vessel bioregular peptide. Very, very cool and interesting peptides. So Vesagen is a small tripeptide with a molecular formula C15H26N4O8 and a molecule weight of around 390.4 daltons. Basically, what's cool about these bioregulators is because of their amino acid structure and size, we can actually use them orally and have efficacy there as well. However, vestigen, in my opinion, is best used as an injectable.

So this originally came from another product called Ventfort, which we, again, an extract from Bovine material and Ventford, what you can also buy is the oral version and it pairs really well with Vessagen. But I would just say Vestagen is going to be stronger. To me, I've used both Vesagen and Ventfort. I definitely noticed more of a performance enhancement benefit from Vsagen, but. Anyway, it's non-immunogenic due to its short length and composition of natural amino acids, and it was among six peptide-based preparations approved for

medical use in the Soviet Union back in 80s and 90s, so we do have a lot of data going back a while on those. Let's look at the mechanisms here. So basically, as with most of these peptide bioregulators, it penetrates cell membranes and localizes to the nucleus. Basically, when you inject it, travels into the blood vessel tissue and then goes in the cell membrane of those to get into nucleus to where it's going to interact with the DNA and actually modulate some of the dna in a good way. It binds to specific DNA sequences influencing which genes are activated or silenced without altering the sequence.

It also stimulates endothelial cell renewal, which counters age-related decline in endothermal turnover. This increases expression of proliferation markers in vascular endothermal cultures, leading to higher cell replication rates. Basically what that means is it's healing the lining of the blood vessels and also helping turn those into a more youthful state. It also promotes nitric oxide dependent relaxation of blood vessels and enhances something known as PGI2 medicated vasodilation, which reduces vascular resistance and improves tissue perfusion.

So again, we're having this whole synergy effect with nitrous oxide as well. It has anti atherosclerotic effects, so it inhibits lipid peroxidation and LDL and potentially slows plaque development. They also stabilize cell membranes and has been linked to upregulation of sirtuin. One, which is obviously associated with longevity. It also modulates the immune system as a lot of these bioregulators do. So it stimulates proliferation of lymphocytes and hematopoietic stem cells, so it increases division of human T cells suggesting an immune supportive role

that may improve immune surveillance and healing. It also does have neuroprotective effects, so it protects neurons from toxic and degenerative insults. So in Huntington's disease models, it increased neural spine density by around 32%, while in Alzheimer's models it had increased mature mushroom dendritic spines by 20%. So also to, again, I think when you look at our body being made up of blood vessels, because we have to pump blood to every area of our bodies, this is going to be something that benefits us really systemically as opposed to maybe the liver, or the pancreas, although those have a systemic,

excuse me, systemic benefits as well. We look at cardiovascular applications. So clinical observations found that adding oral vestigen, so this is even just the oral version, to standard therapy led to fewer angina pectoris attacks, aka heart attacks and reduced cardiac arrhythmias. Patients reported more stable cardiac rhythms and improved exercise tolerance. And also when we look at high blood pressure in older patients with essential hypertension, combining vestigen with antihypertensive drugs resulted in prolonged remission between hypertensive crises and decreased blood cholesterol and VLDL levels.

It also improves endothelial function and reduces heart damage, making it valuable for patients, with coronary disease and hypertension. And I would go ahead and say, cardiogen is the heart peptide bioregulator, but if you pair cardiogenic with vestigens, that also does really well too. Now this is cool because I get questions all the time about neuropathy or peripheral neuopathy of what would be good for that. And ARA290 is really good, but this one is probably going to be something in the next year or two that many more people find out does a lot to help their neuro.

Vestigen has been tested in patients with lower limb ischemia due to arthrosculatic peripheral artery disease, showing significant improvement in blood flow and accelerated recovery. And it's also given as a course of therapy after surgical revascularization, such as bypass, and vestigen significantly improves bloodflow in the legs and helps relieve symptoms like intermittent claudication. Then also to study inpatients with atherosclerosis related erectile dysfunction, found Vestigen therapy led to market improvements and penile arterial

inflow and erectile function by treating the underlying vascular insufficiency. I will add to this, just my own personal experience, I definitely noticed, not to get graphic, but much more penial sensitivity from taking Vesagen above and beyond everything else that I'm doing to live optimized. So there definitely is a benefit there. Now, if you're 50 pounds overweight, is going to help with ED. I mean, amongst other things, yeah, it probably could, but just for me personally, I can't say whether I've heard anybody else report that back to me. It did help.

But I'm a shill, right? So microcirculation, so vestigial plays a unique role in conditions of capillary weakness and microvascular disorders. So in geriatric practice, is shown effectiveness for purpura cinalis, which is easy bruising on the elderly due to fragile capillaries. It demonstrated to increase capillary wall resistance, normalize microcirculatory bed function, favorably influence blood coagulation parameters, and improve skin capillary resistance in patients with vitamin deficiencies.

I actually think, too, knowing that for guys that struggle with high hematocrit and high haemoglobin, Vestigen would probably be something that I would absolutely add in to help bring that down. Now, I don't personally have high himatocrit or high hemo-globin because I do tons of cardio. But I didn't notice any change on my blood work there. But for someone that has like a super high hematocrit, which is a whole different conversation that I should probably make another video about because a lot of times that's mistaken too, but I think it can be beneficial to guys or women with thicker blood.

Now, when we look at the neurological aspects, so it improves cerebral microcirculation, which enhances oxygen and nutrient delivery to brain tissues. So this supports overall brain function and may help prevent vascular related cognitive decline. We also see the combination of Vessagen with Penelon enhance memory, attention, and thinking in individuals working in hazardous conditions. I've used both of these pretty extensively, but not together. But when I came across this, this is definitely something I want to run at some point in the future. but participants showed faster sensory motor reaction times and improved mental capacity.

And then preclinical research and Alzheimer's models indicated that Vestigen can help preserve synaptic density and plasticity, potentially slowing neurodegeneration and supporting brain resilience. When we look at the anti-aging properties, I think for anyone, again, healthy or not, this is something that we can use as a hallmark of our anti aging protocol. So it decelerates certain aging biomarkers, it improves markers of biological age, and it also has anabolic effects on various organ systems helping to

maintain and preserve muscle mass over time. I would say out of all the injectable bioregulators, This one would definitely be one that would be something that I would say is a staple of the Longevity Protocol. So let's look at some evidence. There was a study done with 41 elderly patients with chronic lower limb ischemia who received vestigen monotherapy, meaning vestigens in isolation, after revascularization surgery. They did 10 to 20 days and then they had significant increase in lower-limb blood flow on clinical exam and an ultrasound after vestige treatment.

And then also patients experienced reduced ischemic pain and better walking distance, demonstrating vestigens effectiveness and improving peripheral circulation after vascular surgery. So definitely efficacy there. This is the erectile dysfunction study. There are 41 patients with atherosclerotic erectal dysfunction, and they did a vestigen course of monotherapy. and then they evaluated penile ultrasound and erectile function scores. There was market improvement in penial arterial flow, enhanced rigidity and reduced clinical ED severity.

So it showed that Vestin effectively treated atherosclerosis related erectil dysfunction by addressing the underlying vascular insufficiency, which almost all the time there obviously is a psychological aspect to erectal dysfunction. But when we look at the physical aspect of it, It is almost always related to insufficient blood flow to the penile area. So that would be something that could be really good if that's something you struggle with. Now let's look at this. This is pretty cool. There's an occupational stress study. They looked at 150 male truck drivers compared to 150 controls.

The participants worked in hazardous conditions with high stress and risk factors. They combined Vestagen plus Penelon peptides taken orally. And again, this is the oral version and the control group received no peptide treatment. So the, the people that were in the study group and had improved neurophysiological status, a restoration of adaptive capacity, improved psycho-emotional indices, so less anxiety and fatigue and fewer stress induced borderline mental disorders, which I could imagine being in jobs like that. I've worked manual labor in younger years in my life.

and it definitely wears on you psychosocially and psycho-emotionally, that is for sure. So the best results were actually observed when Vessagen was combined with Penelon with each peptide targeting specific organ systems. It shows that it does definitely help with stress resilience. This was an anti-aging study. They looked at 32 patients between age 41 and 83 with chronic conditions and cerebral syndrome. And they did a Vestagen oral administration for a course with biological age markers and metabolic parameters measured before and after.

And they found that Vestigen had significant rejuvenation of biological age indicators. They had improved central nervous system function, improved metabolism and cardiovascular metrics. And there was an anabolic effect on the tissues and meaning that they had better organ function tests. So there definitely is. a greater geroprotective impact from Vessagen than even Penelon, which more people probably know about than Vesagen. So when we look at another study, this was done in vascular tissue. Vestagen-treated vascular wall explants show 24% greater growth of micro vessels compared to controls, and the pro-growth effect persisted even after seven days,

indicating sustained stimulation of angiogenesis by Vespagen, and then message in markedly stimulated growth in vascular tissue explants while having minimal impact on unrelated tissues, which again we see across all of the bioregulators. There was a mouse model just to continue with studies. You can see there's a lot more evidence behind VESIGEN than some of these other ones. So in rats, with accelerated aging, Vesigene preserved organ structure in the intestines that maintained mucosal integrity by supporting microvasculature resulting in more normal intestinal villi and higher cell proliferation.

And in rat with chronic gum disease, local injection of VEsigène around the teeth improved gum health, normalized capillary status, increased capillary resistance and enhanced microcirculatory perfusion to the periodontal tissue. And it suggests that potential applications in wound healing or tissue repair context exists since improved microcirculation generally speeds and supports tissue regeneration. So you can see there, there's obviously kind of a similar effect of BPC and TB 500. And I think this would pair nicely probably in helping recover from an injury. I didn't have anything that I could use it on specifically those injury to see, but I there are people out there that probably could try that and really

only stand to benefit from it. You can also look at some preclinical research and cell studies. So late passage, human mesenchymal stem cells, which normally show high levels of aging markers and growth arrests were treated with Vestigen in a culture. And the results showed a two to three-fold reduction in senescence markers, and P21 gene expression, in Vessagen-treated cells versus control, And Vesagen delayed cellular aging in these stem-cells, helping them maintain a youthful morphology and proliferative capacity. There is evidence to suggest it absolutely helps with lifespan.

So what does vasogen target? So we have vascular growth factors. So if you are paying attention, what else does it sound like? It upregulates vascular endothelial growth factor, otherwise known as VEGF, while down-regulating p53 and endocellular cells cultures from atherosclerotic patients. That is also similar to BPC157. It also normalizes endothelial nitric oxide synthase, otherwise known as ENOS activity, which is central to nitrous oxide production or vasodilation. And it also restricts lipid peroxidation of lipoproteins which also helps with our cholesterol.

When we look at combination therapy, like I talked about, Penelon can be used with Vessagen. So if you did want to pair it with one, that would be the one that I would go to first, as we saw in that truck driver study. The cool thing about most of these peptide bioregulators, or all of them, is that they degrade down in amino acids. Almost never is there any sort of bad side effects. Even if injected, probably 10 bottles in a row, there's not really going to do anything. There's really not going be anything that comes to harm you. It really is no effect other than sometimes they may sting a little when you're injecting them.

And basically we cannot find any incidences of people having allergic reactions or anything like that. So it's unlikely to provoke any sort of immune reaction. Again, we don't have tons of, I would call, eastern medicine trials on these, but they've been used in the east for a long time. Just make sure you're getting quality peptides from a good source. And then finally, here's the dosing. So what I would do is get a 20 milligram vial of Vessagen.

That's typically what it comes in. I will add two milliliters of water to that vile. And that means that each one ml or 100 units is now 10 milligrams, so it's 10 mg per milliliter. So 10 units or 0.1 ml would be 1 mg. And my recommended dosing, you could probably go as low as 0,5 mg, I like 2 mg for a day. You can do that sub-q or intramuscularly. Sub-Q is just a little bit more convenient, but I think you probably get a bit of a Performance enhancement effect, if you do it IM,

and I would do that for 30, 60 days. And then this would definitely be one that I like to add in at least two times per year, but if wanted to be on the safe side, three times for a year. So it's really simple. Use it two or three time for year you get a benefit. What's cool about these is typically the effects will stay for months after taking it, whereas with a lot of peptides sent out of your system and you might not notice the effect for awhile after it. That is it for the slides. And that is pretty much everything you need to know about Vessagen. Again, definitely one of the more versatile peptide bioregulators. I really think this is one that anybody can stand to benefit from.

Young, old, in shape, out of shape fat, skinny, you will likely benefit Vesagen and there is going to be a longevity aspect to it. So people always ask me, What should I have in my longevity protocol? I've already got my bases covered. Vestigen would definitely be one. Take the time to spend it. You could probably use a whole year's worth for somewhere between 150 to 200 bucks. So not super expensive either. Really great peptide. I enjoy taking it again. Is it something that's as strong as maybe like a Mod C or injectable pre-workout?

It's up there. And I think it's more an underlying effect than it is an overt effect. But I do notice over time, better blood flow, obviously better cardio performance. If you're an athlete or somebody that relies on your performance to make an income, or even if you just put a lot of time and passion into your training, I definitely think Vestigen is worth running. So I would love to hear your comments and feedback on this one. If you've used Vestigen, drop it in the comments below and let us know your experience, good or bad. Just helps the community kind of be aware of what's going on out there with other insights into that.

And then also too, don't forget to check out the Peptide Cheat Sheet, leave your questions in question box, link down below, and then check it out for yourself. So before I close out, thank you guys so much. I am so honored and privileged from the bottom of my heart to get to do what I do and bring this information to you, guys. that I want to do and get to all the live streams that want do in everything. So thank you guys. Hopefully that comes across the material I create, but I always say without you, guys, I don't exist. Thank you and I will talk to you again in the next one.

Peace.
