Pharma HGH vs Generic HGH: Is It Really Worth Your Money?

This is a question I get all the time. Guys want to know the difference between generic and pharma HGH, and why you'd choose one over the other. Short answer? If you can afford it, pharma all day. But there's more nuance to it than that, and I want to break down exactly what you're getting (and what you're risking) with each one.

What HGH Actually Is

HGH is human growth hormone, a peptide hormone crucial for growth and metabolism. In medicine, recombinant HGH (somatropin) is a 191 amino acid protein used to treat growth hormone deficiency and certain wasting conditions.

Pharma-grade HGH comes from regulated prescription brands. Genotropin from Pfizer, Humatrope from Lilly, Norditropin, Saizen, Serostim. These are produced under strict quality control.

Generic or underground HGH is typically obtained through black markets or online sources. Much cheaper, but not subject to the same manufacturing standards.

Purity Differences

Pharma-grade HGH is around 98 to 99% pure 191 amino acid somatropin with minimal impurities. Each batch is tested. The 191 amino acid sequence is bioidentical to what your body produces, which keeps immunogenicity low.

Here's why that matters. If you inject something bioidentical, your body says "this is what I already make" and doesn't mount an immune response. If the sequence is off, your body starts treating it like a foreign substance and builds antibodies over time. That's why we cycle peptides on and off. With pure pharma HGH, you don't run into that issue the same way.

Generic varies widely. Reputable underground kits can be 95 to 97% pure. I've seen some test out at 99%, and they're pretty good, but still not pharmaceutical. In worst cases, vials may contain little or no actual HGH. Some have been filled with HCG to give you water retention so you think it's working.

Modern fakes sometimes use 192 amino acid HGH (somatrem) instead of 191. It's cheaper to produce. That extra amino acid can trigger immune reactions and antibody formation.

Dosing Accuracy

Pharma HGH is reliably dosed. A 10 IU vial gives you 10 IU of bioactive HGH within a tiny margin of error. Any deviation would lead to a recall.

Generic can be inconsistent. Sometimes manufacturers spike it higher to make it feel more potent so you think they're a good source. Independent lab tests on underground samples have found concentrations both above and below the claimed amount. Without regulation, potency can be a luck of the draw.

The Real Difference: Excipients

This is where I think the practical difference actually lives. The excipients in pharma HGH are what make the user experience smoother. Less water retention, less carpal tunnel, less bloating.

Pharma products contain buffers like sodium phosphate and citrates to maintain stable pH. Stabilizers and bulking agents like mannitol, sucrose, and glycine to keep the protein from denaturing during freeze drying. Polyxamer 188 in liquid pen formulations to keep the protein from aggregating. Preservatives like phenol or m-cresol to inhibit bacterial growth in multi-dose pens.

These excipients ensure the correct 3D folding of HGH stays intact. They prevent clumping, reduce oxidation, and give you consistent injections.

Underground HGH often skips this. Basic buffers without proper stabilizers. Lower quality mannitol or glycine to cut costs. Many generics don't contain phenol at all, which is why instructions say to discard the vial within a short time after reconstitution.

If the manufacturer uses impure or industrial grade chemicals, you can end up with residual contaminants or incorrect pH. That leads to protein damage, especially during shipping and storage. I'd say 70 to 80% of this whole conversation is about supply chain and what the excipients are doing to keep the product stable from factory to your fridge.

Contamination Risk

Pharma is manufactured in sterile conditions with rigorous quality checks. Extremely low risk of microbial contamination. I don't think I've ever gotten an injection site reaction from pharma HGH.

Underground reports include painful red welted injection sites, signs of impurities, immune reactions. Inadequate purification can leave endotoxins or host cell proteins that irritate tissue. Any injectable from underground labs carries some sterility risk.

Why Higher Doses Magnify the Difference

At 1 to 2 IU per day, the difference between pharma and generic is less pronounced. As you scale up to 8 or 10 IU, everything gets magnified.

You're injecting more total impurities. Higher cumulative exposure means higher likelihood of immune responses, injection site inflammation, antibody formation. Dosage inaccuracies also become more noticeable. If a vial is overdosed or underdosed by 20%, that matters way more at 8 IU than at 2 IU.

I've personally taken 4 to 5 IU of generic and felt amazing, slept great, looked pumped. But a couple days in, my hands started cramping up. Was it overdosed? Was the purity off? Hard to say. But the unpredictability is the problem.

Dose Recommendations

Anti-aging and longevity: 1 to 2 IU per day, five days on, two days off. Mimics youthful GH levels. Very well tolerated. Pharma is best, but reputable generic works fine here.

Aggressive fat loss: 3 to 4 IU per day. More pronounced fat loss. I'd go pharma. Predictable dose, consistent results when training and diet are dialed.

Maintaining a lean physique year round: 2 to 3 IU per day. Pharma offers the best experience. Reputable underground is an option if budget is the issue.

Bodybuilding: 5 to 10+ IU per day with insulin and anabolic steroids. Pharma is the gold standard if you can afford it. Most bodybuilders go underground because pharma year round wrecks your wallet.

For most people in the longevity, anti-aging, or "look good" camp, you're going to land somewhere between 1 and 4 IU per day. You can run that long term without consequences if you stick with pharma.

A Note on Women

I didn't talk much about women in the video, but 1 to 2 IU per day of growth hormone for women is amazing. Especially for aging women. Metabolic health, longevity, skin, hair. It does great things.

My take

HGH is HGH. Be smart about how you acquire it. It's like asking if you want a Hyundai or a Ferrari. Everyone in their right mind wants the Ferrari, but a Hyundai still gets you around. I'm not knocking generic. There are good manufacturers out there and plenty of people get good responses.

But for me personally, running 2 to 3 IU per day year round, it's pharma all day. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it can fix your HGH needs. And right now, if you're smart enough to find a good source, the price gap between pharma and generic isn't as wide as it used to be. Worth the extra spend in my book.

Hey everybody. This is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing wherever you are at in the world today. Well, as the old saying goes, this one's for the boys. Not really. When I thought about that, I felt that it would just be funny to say that when I first started that this ones for boys, but today I'm going to be talking about generic versus pharma. This is a question I get all the time and it's usually from men, sometimes from women, but they want to know the difference between generic and pharma HGH and kind of why you would choose one or the other. Obviously the short answer is going to be, if you can afford it, you'd choose pharma HTH all day.

But I do think it would be interesting to do a breakdown, which is why I made this video and I compiled some research, basically everything that I could scour the internet and find around it. But this is something I've tested a lot in myself just to see the differences. My conclusion would be, yeah, pharma HEH is obviously better if you can afford it, but I think there's still maybe some reasons that some people, you know, obviously due to cost or what have you, that you could use generic HE, and I there are some sources that could get.

You kind of got to play around and see what you get, it's going to be a little bit more unreliable. But at the end of the day, I wanted to do this video to just give you an example and a context for, okay, if I'm buying pharma HE versus buying generic What am I going to get and what risk am i running by maybe not getting pharma or am running any risk at all? So that's what today's video is going be about. Now, just for a little bit of context, I think I would be lying to myself and I'd be lieing to you guys if I told you that I didn't get excited about doing

more material like this. I know this might not be one for the masses because not everyone is into HEH. Seems that more people are into the HEh peptides which is totally cool. If you're just getting into this, but I do love to geek out on performance enhancement things. And that doesn't always apply to maybe like the anti-aging longevity world, but I love this stuff. I'll never be a competitive bodybuilder. At least I don't intend to or have plans to be. a mass monster and get up to like 270 or 280 pounds or anything like that.

But I do love studying the nature of performance enhancement. And obviously that's why I am so excited to publish videos that I and stuff. Usually they're in the context of longevity, anti-aging and those things, but I love the performance side of things. I was an athlete obviously growing up and I still train very frequently and often and pretty intensely. So I love studying this side of things. So this one is a little bit more as they say from the artist side things, one for me and one them. This one's one from me.

And hopefully it's interesting for you guys too, because obviously I create content to be helpful and to help empower you to make decisions. Without further ado, I'm going to share my screen. Without further ado, I'm going to share my screen and today we're going All right. I'm Hunter Williams. And today's video is all about pharma versus generic HGH. So let's get into it. What is HHH? It's obviously human growth hormone. It is a peptide hormone crucial for growth and metabolism in the body. In medicine, recombinant HTH, which is known as somatropin, is 191 amino acid protein used to treat growth, hormone deficiency,

and certain wasting conditions. Now, when we look at The sources of these, we have pharmaceutical-grade HEH, which comes from regulated prescription formulations such as genotropin from Pfizer, humetrope from Lilly, and many others. They are produced under strict quality control. And obviously, And it usually is an unregulated product often obtained through black markets or online sources. And these underground versions are typically much cheaper, but they're not subject to the same manufacturing standards in most cases.

So let's look at comparing these when we look purity. Here's some key differences. So the pharmaceutical grade HGH typically in all cases should be around 98 to 99% pure 191 amino acid somatropin with minimal impurities. Each batch is tested and should test to ensure the correct sequence unfolding and all FDA approved brands use authentic 191 amino acid sequence reducing the immunogenicity. And I'm going to talk because I think the bigger piece of this conversation is around immunogenicity, which is basically just your body building up an

immune response to the exogenous growth hormone. So no extraneous proteins detected in pharma HGH, they almost always consist of entirely active, so much of it. So what that means is that if you have bioidentical growth hormone, So 191 amino acid sequence growth hormones. If you inject that into the body and it's identical to what the naturally produces, you're not going to have any sort of immune response to that because the buddy just says, Oh, this is what's already in my body anyway. And you don't at least, what I would say is a dose dependent fashion, have an immune response.

However, if that amino acid sequence is not exactly bioidentical or it's not what the body recognizes, the bodies going to say, oh, this is kind of not when I'm looking at or not, what i'm used to seeing. And I want to start to maybe build up an immunity to it because I think it is foreign substance and I need to trigger my immune system. So, Does that mean we have an autoimmune disease coming out? Obviously not. It doesn't go that far. However, if it's not identical, the less close it is to what the body naturally produces, The more of an immune response.

And this is why peptides we cycle on and off because they're not identity to the what body produces. Therefore, we build up immune responses and we had to cycle off of them so that we don't build that response over time and they no longer work. So that's what can happen with growth hormone itself if is not absolutely pure. Now, if we go to the generic side of things, it varies widely. So reputable underground kits can be fairly pure, usually around 95%, 95, 96, 97. I have seen underground labs that at least tested out from the testing

facility that they were 99%. And I've used those and they're pretty good. They still weren't pharmaceutical though. In worst cases, HEH files may contain little or no actual HE. And then in the past, has been a thing where a lot of them have filled the HE with HCG. to kind of give you the water retention to make you think it's working when the reality is not. And then modern fakes often use 192 amino acid, HGH, which is known as somatrim instead of the 191 amino acids, as it is sometimes cheaper to produce, but not identical to natural GH. So the extra amino asset can trigger immune reactions, that antibody formation that I was talking about, and then the purity may also be compromised by fragments,

aggregates, or residual host cell proteins from crude manufacturing. Now, it was my opinion after extensively using generic and pharmaceutical grade growth hormone on myself just for test purposes and experimentation and learning that I don't think so much the 192 thing is a big deal as it is the excipients and the different other chemicals that are either in or not in the pharma or the generic. And we'll talk about that more today.

I did want to talk about dosing accuracy and consistency comparison, because this is, I think, even in the purest underground growth hormone, you do see some variation in this. So with pharmaceutical grade HGH, we have reliable dosings. Each vial pin contains the labeled IU or milligrams of HGH. Pharmaceutical HTH is formulated to consistently vile to viled batch to batch be identical. The potency is verified by the manufacturer and any deviation would lead to a recall. So for instance, a 10IU pharma HGH file delivers 10 IU of bioactive HTH within obviously a very, very tiny margin of error.

That's not perfect, but it's usually much closer than the generic in most cases. Now we have generic. It can oftentimes be inconsistent. Sometimes manufacturers may even spike it a little bit more to make it more potent to think that, to thank, Oh, this is a good source because it has a bit. Based on I use that. I think I'm doing one in reality. So they're not always super accurately dose and whether that's intentional or not can be left up for debate. But independent lab tests on various UGL HGH samples have found concentrations were slightly above and below the claimed amount.

So in many cases, this variance is modest, but severe discrepancies have been reported. I haven't personally dealt with that, But a market survey noted that some black market HHH with much lower active content and labeled, or even in worse cases, HCG or something like that. But batch-to-batch consistency is also a problem. So users report that one batch of a UGL brand might work well while the next batch is ineffective. And so without regulation, potency can be a luck of the draw. Again, whether it's intentional or not, I think in some cases it could be intentional, it is not intentional. However, I just think when we look at control standards, ultimately this conversation is going to come down a lot to that is how tightly and well controlled

this is. And I'm not saying that generic HGH can't be tightly controlled, but there's a I did want to talk about contamination risk. So pharmaceutical grade, if it's truly pharmaceutical-grade, is manufactured in sterile conditions with rigorous quality checks. Extremely low risk of microbial contamination or endotoxin exists, and then solvents and media are removed during purification and final products are tested for bacterial or viral contaminants. So, PharmaHGH, again, assuming it's real pharma, should not have bacterial residue and injection site reactions are rare.

I don't actually think I've ever gotten an injection side reaction from pharmaceutical HGH that I can think of. So hopefully that means mine are on point, which I know they are. But when we look at the underground, we just do have this higher risk. There are reports out there of underground HTH causing painful red welted injection sites or signs of impurities or immune reaction. This can come from the 192 amino acid thing going on. And also, too, I think it's more of a case of the bacterial residue. So inadequate purification can leave endotoxins or host cell proteins that irritate tissue.

Then there's also the risk of poor sterility. While not commonly reported with HGH, any injectable from underground labs can be non-sterile. Yes, technically, you can risk infections. But then in case a contaminated injectible drugs, It could lead to serious infection. Now, I'm not saying you really have to worry about that from any reputable underground or generic dealer, but it does exist. So overall, the underground HGH lacks the assurance of sterility and purity, so users face a greater risk of contamination. It's just something to note.

What I did want to talk about, and I think this is more or less where we see the pronounced response from people, practically speaking, in terms of how much fat loss, how muscle gain do they get, from the pharmaceutical grade versus the generic, and it comes down to the excipients in the Pharmaceutical grade. So again, this is the best I could do. I don't have the secret sauce of what they're putting in genotropin or what their putting it in nortotropein, or serostem, but from what I can gather across searching the internet, This is best that I find.

Hopefully this gives you context for understanding why the Pharma grade is going to usually cause less water retention, less carpal tunnel, and less bloating and all those things than the generic usually causes. The one is going to be the buffers and this is gonna include phosphates like sodium phosphate, citrates and some formulations and what these do is they help maintain a stable pH which is crucial for preventing protein denaturation or aggregation, which again is as crucial in how well our body responds to it and how much muscle we build and much fat we lose.

And we also have the stabilizers and bulking agents. So these actually, GASP, a lot of times contain mannitol or sucrose. These are commonly used as bulky agents and used to stabilize the protein during freeze drying, which is liloophilization. Yes, you would be shocked to find out that, I don't know exactly which ones, but a HGH does contain mannitol, and it's for a specific purpose of keeping it preserved to make sure that it doesn't denature. It oftentimes will contain glycine, which is an amino acid used to help maintain stability and tonicity of the protein.

And then also too, I found this polyxamer 188 and certain liquid PIN formulations like nortotropin and sizin, Which is a surfactant that helps keep the delicate protein from aggregating and also affects the viscosity of this solution. And then also we have some preservatives. So there's phenol or m-cresol, which in low concentrations is there to inhibit bacterial growth and reconstituted or pre-mixed solutions. And these agents help reduce the risk of contamination once the vial is open. We also have solvent. There's usually water for injection.

Then some pin devices come pre mixed in a solution with small amounts of glycerol and ethanol, though that varies by brand. Sometimes, for instance, like synotropin, you'll get those and they're already mixed in the vial, but you can get a genotrope in and it basically comes with powder and water, and then you will twist the pen and that it mixes together and you're good to go. And then we also too, there are sometimes our pH adjusters or small amounts of acids or bases may be added to fine-tune the final solution's pH. Ultimately, it comes down to the manufacturer, comes out to scientists and everything behind it, the formulators, the people making it of what they think

is best to help keep it stable. But ultimately there is all these things in there to basically help delivery and the experience of the person using it to not have any negative side effects. Ultimately, the excipients ensure the correct 3D folding of HH remains intact, preventing the protein from clumping or forming aggregates and reducing the risk of oxidation. They also provide consistent reconstitution and injection characteristics. And the preservatives like phenol minimize bacterial growth in multi-dose devices that are obviously you're going to have around for a decent amount of time.

for most pens, depending on your dosage. So that's why I think a lot of times you're going to see a better response. Again, maybe the HEH is the same pharmacist versus generic, but in the pens you are going have these excipients and you will have a control process that is not there and seen in generics. And then to back that up, what are some excipients usually found in generics or what is not in there that oftentimes is in the pharma? So sometimes they don't use ideal stabilizers, so some underground HEH kits may contain only basic buffers like phosphate or citrate without additional stabilisers,

and they may omit or use lower quality mannitol or glycine to cut costs. And I think, too, you will see mannatol a lot in their generic HEF formulations, but is it the same quality? Probably not, making the protein more prone to aggregation or partial denaturation. We also have uncertain preservatives, so many generic HGH products do not contain phenol. Some have no antimicrobial agent at all, which is why most instructions for these underground products say to discard the vial within a short time after reconstitution. Alternatively, an unknown or subpar preservative might be used in rare cases people reported stinging or localized reactions that might due to improper

or harsh preservatives, which can happen. And then if the manufacturer uses impure or industrial grade chemicals, the final product can have residual contaminants or actually an incorrect pH and the inconsistent pH can lead to protein damage, especially during shipping and storage. Again, I think probably 70 to 80% of this conversation is around that whole supply chain and what's going on there and when excipients are in there or not in their lead, lead the degradation in the supply from the time it's made at the factory to when it gets to you.

And then some pharmaceutical companies perform freeze drying under highly controlled conditions where all of them do and then underground labs often rely on cheaper processes which can leave behind excess moisture or degrade the protein and an insufficient freeze-drying plus inadequate stabilizers equal to the product with higher risk of partial unfolding or aggregation. And some big-name pharma brands like Nordotropin or Genotropein use Palaxima or 188 or other So what does this lead us to? It leads to an inconsistent or incorrect excipients that reduce bioactivity.

more impurities that can neutralize the GHFX and the user experience is usually less potent and you usually have more side effects. So let's look at specific ways excipients influence difference in response. A well stabilized product with mannitol, glycine, and proper referring should preserve the delicate structure of HGH during shipping and storage, maintaining the potency. Underground HEH lacks these stabilizers, it might degrade faster. And even slight misfolding can change how the protein is recognized by the body, potentially diminishing its anabolic or fat loss actions,

and also too creating that immunogenicity response. So to immunogenicity, the presence of protein fragments and aggregates is a common cause of the immune response that we get. Proper excipients minimize aggregate formation in an impure or poorly stabilized HEh on the other end. can lead to formation of antibodies that neutralize GH, thus lowering its effective activity over time or triggering injection site inflammation. And if you do get injection inflammation, you probably know that that's something that you should worry about.

And then carefully chosen, buffers at physiological pH typically cause minimal discomfort. However, undisclosed or harsh preservatives or incorrect pH can cause local pain, swelling, or even tissue irritation. So some underground bios come with a basic bacteriostatic water that does not match the final pH recommended for stable HH solution. Now, if you get a generic vial of HEH and you put it back to your cytokine. That's basically the best thing you can do. I'm sure there's like some hack out there or something like that that can make it a little bit better and feel free to put that in the comments. But I think too, that's probably where the pharma is distinguished because again, a lot of times it's already mixed or you're mixing it in a back one and

they send you that has the certain things to help keep the pH right. And then obviously pharma-grade HGH and lyophilized form can remain stable for one to two years and once reconstituted is often stable stable, for many weeks at a time. However, generic vials sometimes are very quickly or must be used within 24 to 48 hours. I personally haven't seen that as a thing, but when you do look up some of the research around this, it is something that comes up. And in pharmo products, the recipients help keep the dose uniform from vial to vile and dose to dose. In some underground products the lack of robust formulation can lead to sedimentation or partial precipitation.

And if the user doesn't reconstitute it or makes it just right, or maybe you just shoot the water down in there, which can affect how the proteins are denatured, instead of slowly dripping down to the side of the vial, they may not get the intended dose in each injection. So let's look at Pharma by pharma compound. What do we see in there? So we have genitropin. Obviously that's probably the gold standard in terms of what's out there, what available and what we can get our hands on. And so genotropins is going to have glycine, mannitol and sodium phosphate and sometimes phenol in the liquid chamber as a preservative.

Eli Lilly has humetrope and these come in vials and pins, so you can get either or. Eli Lily puts mannitol, glycine, and phosphate, the provided dilutin can contain metacryzol as a preservative. Nortotropin is a pre-filled pin with a liquid formulation so that you don't actually reconstitute it. The excipients are phenol, mannatol and histidine. Palaximer, 188 and water for injection. And then Seizen from Merck is lyophilized pen for injection or liquid cartridge and this can have sucrose, mannitol, paloxymer,

188, and possibly mcrezol as a preservative. And then serastem, another popular one, was made for HIV-associated wasting. This has manntitol sodium phosphate and sometimes no preservatives in the single-use vials because those actually come in vial instead of pens. Then you would technically use all the vile at one time would be the recommendation for someone with HIV or a bodybuilder. with each brand's choice of buffer, system stabilizers and preservatives as a result of all of the R and D that they put into the product for integrity

and safety. And however, sometimes underground labs just combine raw GH with minimal bulking agents, if any at all. Again, that affects the use of what happens. Now let's look at why increased dosage magnifies side effects and quality difference. So I wanted to address this specific part of a conversation because when we look in practical purposes. What are we trying to get out of this? We're trying build muscle and burn fat, right? Sleep better, live longer, and live stronger. At one to two IUs, there's going to be less of a pronounced difference in the response than there would be at maybe eight to 10 Ius.

So as we scale the dosage, obviously these effects become more magnified, which kind of sucks because if you want to do higher doses, it's a lot cheaper to go under the ground route, but then that's typically where you're going more of the side effects come up is when you're doing higher doses of underground versus the pharma. So we have the impurity exposure risk. The greater total exposure to pincial purities scales as we increase the dose, makes sense. Underground or generic AGH often contains impurities, host cell residues, or incorrect amino acid sequences.

When you inject larger quantities, you are also injecting more these unwanted substances. Over time, higher cumulative exposure can lead to a higher likelihood of immune responses like injection site inflammation, antibody formation, or even flu like symptoms. We also have dose dependent GH specific side effects. So even pure pharma HGH has well documented side-effects of scalable dosage like edema, carpal tunnel, joint aches, and insulin resistance. And at higher doses, these effects can become pronounced in both pharma and underground HTH. However, if an underground product is either overdosed or impure, the side effect can even be more unpredictable.

And we have dosage accuracy issues. So with pharma, the labeled IU or milligram doses is accurate to within strict regulatory tolerance. A four IU injection consistently delivers four IUs. However, with underground, like I was saying, labeled doses may not always match, which match what's actually in the bio. If you go up from two to four, I use the real content could be three to five Ius or vice versa. It could in any other direction. And the actual dose might be different from what is intended. You might notice, okay, well I had this kit got great response before I used and I took another kid and before i use i was super bloated and had carpal

tunnel and all these things and it's like yeah well that's that the difference right we also have bioavailability so properly folded purified hch is absorbed more consistently is less likely to stimulate the immune response and poorly made or partially denatured hh can cause immune mediated side effects that worsen as the doses get higher so again when we scale the dosage it gets significantly worse And then most HRH regimens intended for physique or anti-aging benefits last weeks or month, the longer and higher the dose, more likely the side effects accumulate. And so if we're doing it underground, obviously the goal is to do this long-term and I plan on doing for the rest of my life.

Personally, you want good stuff. So let's look at some of these dose dependent effects. So we have one to two IUs a day, typical pharma grade effects, mild water retention, rare joint stiffness, if any at all, slight insulin sensitivity changes and minimal injection site reactions. Most users tolerate this very well. Men and women can usually use one two, I use without any side effects that are negative. All side of X will be positive. When we look at underground, it's potentially similar mild GH effects if the product is genuine and dose correctly, which most of the time I think it is.

And then the increased risk of mild injection site redness if impurity level is high, underdose vials can mean less efficacy than expected. So that is something you run if you're doing the low dose of underground and it's under dosed, you might not notice anything. And so at low doses, side effects are mild, even with lower purity, but any minor impurities can still cause noticeable injection sites issues and sense of users. Now, as we scale the dose, let's go up to three to four IUs per day, which is common in bodybuilding, like amateur body building or just low level physique enhancement. Someone like myself that is not necessarily trying to compete or be a big time bodybuilder.

We're going to have more pronounced water retention, deem in the hands and feet, carpal tunnel like symptoms, elevated fasting blood glucose may start to appear. And then that's from the farmer side of things. When we go to the generic side, we're gonna have greater variability and side effects. So some may get stronger carpial tunnel, others nothing at all, potential for more severe injection site inflammation if product is poorly filtered. elevated risk of partial or overdosing if labeled claims through IU, but actually five IU or two UI in the bailout, we're going to have unpredictable insulin resistance. We can have more or less, or more, less edema.

I will say, for instance, I've taken like four or five IUs of a generic and I felt I slept so good and it felt so and that was like massively pumped. But then I noticed like a couple of days into it, like my hands started to cramp up. So I was, oh man, this is amazing because it feels even more potent than maybe four Ius of the Pharma did. but then maybe it was more. And so maybe that's why I responded that way. So who knows, but at moderate doses, the difference in product purity and actual doses become clear. Some of the ground users might experience extreme bloating or unexpectedly higher side effects that the product actually is overdosed or impure.

Now let's go to five to eight IU a day. This is going to be aggressive body composition protocols. So for pharma, we're going have noticeable edema, joint pain, significant carpal tunnel risk, probably a little bit of insulin resistance if we are not doing anything to counter it. Potential for elevated IGF-1, which I don't think is necessarily a bad thing, but it is there and some people will say that could be bad. And then it's generally consistent with the sources pharma, the side effects are definitely going be much more. If you're taking five IUs of pharmagrid growth hormone, You're probably going to see something now. It will help with that loss and it will have the muscle gain for sure, but you just got to know that's going come with a little bit of side effects.

And then when we go to the underground, probably you're going notice some, some more pronounced side-effects than just the pharma alone. So if truly overdose or contain. Contaminant side effects can become extreme, so excessive fluid retention, severe joint pain, immune reactions. And again, I'm not saying that you're going to get this. It's just in the case that it's not 100% what it should be. You can't do this, and if it is underdust, users may not see the expected hypertrophy or fat loss, which is even worse than having side-effects. because you're taking so much. So as doses escalates, you are injecting more protein and possibly more impurities, and then the immunogenetic events and side effects can skyrocket if

the product isn't well made. And then lastly, we have the ultra high dose, which again is usually just going to be in the bodybuilding community or if you were in super deficient IGF or HEH communities where they're using among kids, that's the other case where you'll see this high of a dose. With pharma, 10 plus IUs a day, you're going to get high incidence of carpal tunnel. And some people may not have this, but for most people, I think you get to 10 Ius, You're gonna see something from the pharma that's gonna be negative. Then you gonna have potential heart growth, things like that, if you are doing it for the long term.

Definitely more proclivity to insulin resistance, often requiring exogenous insulin for control, which isn't always a bad thing. I Think if use a micro dose of insulin and HEH, it's actually pretty cool I've done that and you can get good results. But some individuals cannot tolerate this range even with pharma HEH due to extreme swelling and nerve compression issues. And then when we have the generic, it can be very unpredictable, intensified side effects, severe injection side lumps. This is where we'll see the GH gut come in. So though debated partly from insulin synergy.

This is where people have that really pronounced gut, so they may be super lean, but they have this bulking gut that kind of looks like a little bit of a beer belly. But it's weird because they'll even have abs over top of it. You can see the visible abs, and then they've got this gut. And this is high dose growth hormone for an extended period of time, especially if it is not high quality, can be an issue. It's such high doses, any manufacturing inconsistent contamination is magnified. and the body's hit with large volumes of potential contaminants and sees massive GH swings. So side effects and health risks conspire out of control. And I would not recommend doing that long-term. Again, I'm not really speaking to the Bodybuilding community because they have to do this to get as big as they need to be.

That's just the cost of doing business. I think for most people in the longevity or anti-aging or just want to look good camp, you're going to somewhere between one to four IUs per day. You can do that. Long-Term really without consequences. Just to start to close out, a load of moderate doses, the difference between pharmaceutical and underground HGH may not be as glaring if the underground product is moderately decent quality, although side effects can remain if we keep going up on the dose. Then we get to moderate to high, underground HEH's variable purity and dosage becomes more noticeable, and users might experience unpredictable spikes

in side-effects like edema or carpal tunnel if a product was overdosed or improperly formulated. And then we'll get the higher or ultra-high dose risk, accuracy become critically important. And this is where I would say if you are going to run high doses of HGH, even though it will kill your wallet, it is much smarter to do it with pharma HTH. So even small quality lapses can balloon into severe immune metabolic or injection site reactions that are not good.

And then when we look at the other consideration, so users who stack HGH with anabolic steroids or insulin find that problems with under or over HTH are magnified. So underground HCH that's weaker than labeled can hamper gains if it's stronger than labelled. Unexpected synergy with insulin or steroids can drive more side effects such as insulin resistance or edema. And I think this is important to note because we always want a controlled sample size of what dose is working for us at certain things. And this why I put this in there because if we are using anabolic steroids, even at a smaller dose, we want to know exactly what we're using to get the results.

If we can't trust batch to batch what were using, it's not so much that it is a bad thing. that we have under overdose. It's a bad thing in the sense that, we can't track how well it's going for us. Higher dose is often being going through more vials per month. So if the underground labs, vial are shipped or stored on properly instability or bacterial contamination might be worse than for a single pen of pharmaceutical HGH carefully refrigerated. Obviously too we had the immune system tolerance, which I don't need to go over again. And then last, we just have the financial implications. So pharmaceutical HHH at high dose is extremely expensive.

Some users turn to high-dose underground HCH purely for cost reasons, thereby increasing the risk of encountering the amount of magnified side effects. So for anti-aging longevity, I will just say, you can screenshot this chart. I'm not going to read everything on it, but we'll say one to two I use per day, even left five days on, two days off. And this dose aims to mimic youthful GH levels, not exceed them. very well tolerated, very little problems, if any at all.

Now for aggressive fat loss, typically you could go to three to four IUs per day. You might notice a little bit of water tension, but the fat lost will be more pronounced. I would go with Pharma HGH. It's a predictable dose, consistent for fat-loss effects if our diet and training are on point and if we're doing cardio and other fat burning supplements like peptides and hormone optimization. Now this may start destroying your budget. So if you do go underground, some advanced users do it to try to save money, but risk underdosing or contaminants that might hamper the results.

And so that's all I'll say, those aggressive fat loss doses, we're going to get subcutaneous fat reduction and preserve lean mass even in a calorie deficit. And then I'll say I made a category just of basically maintaining a lean physique year round. I would do low to moderate two to three I use daily or even bridge protocols two, to four I used every other day. Farma HAH for this is relatively affordable at prices that are out there right now. And we can do this for the longterm for year round.

And then if you want it to go with a reputable underground, there are definitely ones out there that you can use, and I'm not knocking or hating on those. You should use those if feel comfortable with them. The steady mild GH report can assist metabolism recovery and reduce body fat over time. There's a less chance of dramatic side effects of dosages or modest. Your round use can get pretty expensive depending on your budget, but underground for your round you know, you can probably be okay at those doses for the long term. And then if you're doing bodybuilding, five to 10 plus I use per day in the morning and the evening, and then using insulin and anabolic steroids,

I would recommend Pharma HEH. It's the gold standard for serious competitors with deep pockets. However, most people because of affordability reasons are going to go with underground because they can't afford pharma for months on end. And they are willing to take the risk to have some of those reactions for the gains that they're going to accrue because ultimately how much muscle you can put on usually will be a conversation is how growth hormone can you find and afford to put. So that's just kind of my use cases of different ones.

But just to sum up, we have anti-aging on longevity, typically one to two IUs per day. Aggressive fat loss, you can scale it up to three to four Ius per. I would use pharma for both of those. For maintaining a lean physique, your round, if you want to go up two to 3 I use per, day where that's like borderline performance enhancement. I think pharma HEH offers the best ability, but underground is an option. So that's kind of the change up. And then if you're a bodybuilder, five to 10 plus I use per day. Pharma, if can afford it, and then underground if it can't.

If you are doing that anyway, you probably willing to risk underground, especially if have a sore. That's just my summary of doses and what you can expect. But I thing for most people, Get pharma, use one to two IUs per day, scale it up when you want to be a little bit more aggressive for fat loss. And if you're a bigger man, you can go to 2 to 3 Ius per. Day and really not have any sort of negative side effects if. You're doing the pharmas side of things. So that is it for the slides and that. Is my guilty pleasure deep dive on phara versus generic HEH, so probably was a.

Little repetitive points, but I did want. To beat the horse of kind of what you could expect from Pharma versus Generic. Again, this was not a video to criticize generic HHH. I've used plenty of generic HEH just to test on myself and see how well it does. I have gone from one I use sometimes up to six to eight I used just see my response. And I will say that the response of six or eight on generic versus pharma is definitely more pronounced. So you definitely feel like I'm bloating in the face. You definitely fell more water retention in your hands. Whereas even the pharma you'll see some of that it's not as pronounced so Again, I think it comes down to the quality control that's around those.

Ultimately, this is one of those problems that money does fix. Money doesn't buy happiness, but it can fix your HGH needs. The more money you have, the more HHH you can afford, and so it's always better to go to a farm around. And I thing for fat loss, for just being lean and strong and looking good throughout the year, farm is always going to be the gold standard. And really, this moment in time, if you're smart enough, you can find good Pharma out there. It's going to be more expensive than the Geronik, but it's not going be so much more, whereas I know in years past, it probably was the case.

So I will say, at the end of the day, HEH is HE. Be smart about how you acquire it. Obviously, It kind of like asking the question, do you want to drive a Hyundai or do want a Ferrari? I think everybody in the right mind would say, yeah, I would rather have the performance Ferrari, but a Hyundai is still going to get you around. And I don't want this to come off as I'm knocking generic HGH because there's plenty of good manufacturers out there. There's a plenty good response you have out here. But I know for me personally, for what I use, which is usually between two to three I used per day over the course of a year,

It's going to be pharma all day. So that's what I'll say. But hopefully this video is helpful. Again, it was a little bit more of a guilty pleasure for me to make. And I know there's it's something that has been requested out there, so hopefully it wasn't informative.
