Prostamax Review | The Injectable Peptide for BPH & Prostate Health
Prostamax is the injectable bioregulator for the prostate, and it does some pretty cool things. If you're a man over 50, this one belongs on your radar. Most guys at that age start dealing with BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia), and Prostamax is one of the better tools out there for it.
What Prostamax Actually Is
Prostamax was originally developed by the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, led by the late Professor Vladimir Khavinson. The composition is Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro, otherwise known as KEDP.
It's a cytogen-class peptide bioregulator designed to normalize prostate tissue function and combat age-related changes at the molecular level. Like most bioregulators, it originated in Russia after decades of research and is only now making its way West.
How Bioregulators Work (Quick Note)
Before going further, I want to make something clear about all bioregulators.
These are modulators. If your tissue is inflamed or out of its ideal state, the peptide helps bring it back. If the tissue is already healthy, you probably won't notice anything.
I don't deal with prostate inflammation or BPH personally. So no matter how much Prostamax I inject, I'm not going to feel much beyond maybe slightly better ejaculations, which is subjective.
A good comparison is Epitalon. In studies, it didn't do much for people in their 20s with healthy pineal glands. For people in their 50s, it was nearly life-changing for sleep and melatonin production. These aren't miracle cures, but for the right person they do really cool things.
The Mechanism
Prostamax induces decondensation of heterochromatin. Basically it unpacks tightly coiled DNA in the cell nucleus.
Think of the Magic School Bus for a second. When you inject these, they travel to the tissue, penetrate the nucleus, and re-wire the transcription of DNA inside that cell to mimic a more youthful state.
Genes that got silenced from environmental and life stressors become accessible again. A lot of those silenced genes are what protect against inflammation, disease, and aging.
It also boosts ribosomal RNA synthesis, increases protein production, enhances cell proliferation, and reduces apoptosis (programmed cell death). In human lymphocyte cultures, treated cells showed a more youthful gene expression profile compared to controls.
What the Studies Show
A 2013 rodent study tested Prostamax and found it:
- Reduced chronic prostate inflammation
- Alleviated swelling and vascular congestion
- Prevented fibrotic and atrophic changes in prostate tissue
- Reduced scarring and preserved glandular structure
- Intensified sexual activity in the animals
That last point matters. Even if you're not using Prostamax for sexual function, healing the prostate often produces downstream sexual benefits.
In that same study, Prostamax outperformed both saw palmetto and an animal prostate extract peptide. As of 2025 there's limited published human clinical data on Prostamax specifically, but related peptides like Prostatilen, Vitaprost, and Libidon (the oral version) do have clinical efficacy.
The Anti-Aging Angle
Beyond the prostate, Prostamax has broader anti-aging potential because of how it works on gene expression.
Long-lived species like the naked mole rat naturally produce peptides analogous to Prostamax. Short-lived rodents don't. By combating heterochromatin accumulation, which is a fundamental aging mechanism, it may support longevity at the cellular level.
Use Cases
The two big ones are:
Chronic prostatitis. Especially chronic abacterial prostatitis. Prostamax may help with pelvic pain, frequent nighttime urination, burning urination, and general discomfort.
BPH. It supports healthy prostate cell proliferation and may slow hyperplastic growth.
It can also be used prophylactically by middle-aged and older men to maintain healthy prostate function. This is something I'll probably be doing as I get older.
Dosing
Injectable is the best form. There's no perfectly standardized dose, but I tell guys 0.5 mg to 2 mg per day works well.
For more severe BPH, lean toward 2 mg per day for 30 to 60 days. Some sources say 10 to 30 days. I prefer 30 to 60 to really pull out the effects. Benefits typically last a few months, so you can run a cycle two to three times per year.
Reconstitution: Add 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to a 20 mg vial. That makes each mL equal to 10 mg. To dose 2 mg, draw 20 units on an insulin syringe.
For 60 days you'll need six bottles. For 30 days, three bottles.
I'd also pair this with Libidon, the oral or sublingual prostate bioregulator, if you really want to move the needle. There are rectal suppository forms out there, but I'd stick to injectables and orals.
Safety
Bioregulators have a very high safety profile because they degrade into amino acids. There's very little that can go wrong.
Some injectable bioregulators sting a bit when you inject. Other than that, I've seen basically no bad side effects. Almost no contraindications.
Real-World Results
One user did a three-week course at 750 mcg per day. Their urine stream became steadier and stronger. Before Prostamax, they were waking up four times a night to urinate. During the cycle, that dropped to once per night.
That's pretty consistent with what I hear. Guys getting up three to four times a night drop down to once or twice. Which is huge, because better sleep improves everything else.
Other reports include relief from constant ache or burning, reduced ejaculatory discomfort, and decreased pelvic floor tension. Things men deal with and don't talk about.
I've seen this help with PSA in some guys and not in others. Some have gone from a 5 down to a 1 or 2, which is significant when nothing else changed. Is it guaranteed? No. But paired with healthy diet, training, fasting, insulin control, and something like SS-31, you can really move the needle.
A higher PSA isn't a death sentence. There's a lot you can do.
My Take
Out of all the people I hear back from on injectable bioregulators, Prostamax has probably the most feedback, and it's 80 to 90% positive. Does PSA always drop? No. But if it's cutting nighttime urinations from three or four down to one or two, that's a huge quality of life win.
If you're a guy in your 50s, this is one I'd keep in regular rotation. Two to three cycles per year of 30 to 60 days. Pair it with Libidon for a fuller stack. The research isn't as deep as some other peptides, but the real-world results from guys actually using it are some of the most consistent I've seen.

Hey everybody, this is Hunter Williams. I hope you're doing amazing wherever you are at in the world. Today's video is all about Prostomax. So Prostermax is the injectable bioregulator for the prostate and it does some really, really cool things that we're gonna dive into today. This is probably best for you if you an aging man, usually somewhere over 50 is where a lot of men really start to feel the effects of what we would call BPH or benign prostate hyperplasia, which is enlargement of the prostrate that pretty much every man deals with. Have I dealt with this yet?
No, but I would assume, well, maybe if I didn't have peptides in my regulators. But when I reach that age, that would be something that I deal with. I think this will be very helpful today to examine Prostomax. There's some other things you could use in a prostate stack. Another one would call Bezalut. Another one would be called Limidon, which is the oral prostate bioregulator. So those are the things that I would add on to this, but I think this is something that every man over 50 should hear and know that there are things out there that can help with this. Obviously other things like Cialis can up with BPH as well.
Today we're going to dive into Prosimax, how to use it, what it does, What to dose it at and everything. And I do want to say this before I get into the video and I'm sure I'll probably talk about this with bi oregulators. What they're doing is they work more as a modulator, Meaning that if tissue is inflamed or tissue isn't in the ideal state, it helps to bring it back to that ideal. But if the tissue's in that state you might not really notice anything. Because there's nothing for it to really do in this sense. It helps the body heal back into a more youthful state.
So in my experience, for someone like me, I don't necessarily deal with prostate inflammation, or prostatitis, BPH or anything like that. Maybe I will at some point in the future. Thank goodness I would have a peptide like prostamax to use in that case. It's not something I personally deal with. So no matter how much prostimax I inject, I don't know that I wouldn't necessarily feel anything other than maybe a little bit better ejaculations, but that's a bit more subjective. I just want to preface that and say, these are not miracle compounds, But they do do some pretty cool things. But also understand too, if the tissue is not necessarily inflamed or not in an ideal state that it should be in, you might not notice any effects.
And you can look at epitalin. They actually did a study with epithalin. The young people and old people, epitalin works on the pineal gland to help the Pineal Gland get better at secreting melatonin and in the younger people with perfectly functioning pineals glands that were in their twenties, it didn't really do anything for them. But the people in there fifties, It was like life-saving molecule because it helped them produce more melotonin, which helped him sleep better and then help them just live a more youthful life. So I just want people to understand that and understand again, these are not miracle cures, but they do do some pretty cool things.
So, as always, the peptide cheat sheet is down in the description. Dosing for Prostomax should be on the new one. Also, too, don't forget the question box, which should down there to suggest a question or a video topic. And as, always fully optimized health, this is the best group on planet if you like topics like these. I'm Nish from my screen, and today we're going to learn about ProstaMax. All right, I'm Hunter Williams, and today we're going to learn about Prostomax, which is the peptide bioregulator for the prostate. So it was originally developed by the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioreglation and Gerontology and led by Professor Vladimir Kevenson, rest in peace.
And the composition of Prostermax is Lys-Glu-Asp-Pro, otherwise known as KEDP. Now, how we get Kedp out of those? I don't know, but that's the abbreviation for it. It basically is a cytogen class synthesized by a regulator. Available as a research compound or dietary supplement in most places, but basically it is designed to normalize, like I said, prostate tissue function and combat age-related changes by acting at the molecular level. So it's one of the several organ-specific calvings and bioregular peptides designed for tissue- specific regeneration.
So it was, again, originated in Russia after decades of research. What's cool about these is that most of these originated Russia. They're used as dietary supplements there. So they're not even considered something that is necessarily like a pharmaceutical in a lot of cases. And they are just now making their way into the West. Let's look at some of the studies around it to what it's doing from a cellular slash mechanistic level. Basically what it does is it induces decondensation of heterochromatin, essentially unpacking tightly coiled DNA in the cell nucleus.
So again, a lot of these bioregulators, just think of like the magic school bus for a second, when we inject them into the body, they're going to the tissue. And it's actually penetrating the nucleus of that tissue to re-white, wire and basically change the transcription of DNA inside that cell tissue to mimic a more youthful state. So basically that makes previously inactivated genes more accessible for transcription, reversing age-related gene silencing, because basically what happens as we age, we have environmental stressors, life stressers, all these things, it turns on and off certain genes.
A lot of times those genes are much more like inflammation and much like disease and sickness than they are like health and youth. It basically also increases ribosomal RNA synthesis, boosts protein production, enhances cell proliferation, and reduces apoptosis. And so basically research on human lymphocyte cultures showed that Prostomax can alter gene expression patterns in a broad anti-aging manner and treated cells exhibited a more youthful profile with higher proliferative rates and lower rates of programmed cell death compared to controls that didn't receive treatment.
Excuse me. So let's look at the clinical efficacy of animal studies. A 2013 study by, I'm not going to begin to pronounce that person's name. If you're watching this, forgive me, but it's a Russian name, so I am sure this was done in Russia. Prostomax was tested in a rodent model. What they found is that it reduced the intensity of chronic inflammation in the prostate. It alleviated swelling and vascular congestion of the prostate. it also prevented fibrotic and atrophic changes in prostate tissue. Excuse Drink a little bit too much water.
It reduced scarring and preserved a glandular structure and it intensified sexual activity in the animal. So this is where I was saying like, even if you might not, I didn't notice this in using it, but if, if your man, And you're using this for your prostate. If you heal the prostate, a lot of times there's downstream effects on sexual function for the better. And so it intensified sexual activity in the animals. NWProstomax's efficacy surpassed that of two comparison therapies, which were saw palmetto and an animal prostate extract peptide.
suggesting potent prostatotropic effects beyond standard treatment. So pretty cool there. Now, as of 2025, there is limited published clinical data on Prostomax specifically. We can look at some of the other ones. There are other related peptides, one called Prostatillian and Vitaprost. And then there's also Libidon, which is the oral prostate myoregulator. But basically just know that this is going to work very similar to Libadon which prostate bioregulator, which does have clinical efficacy to confirm that it does work.
So when we look again at the mechanism of action, binding at DNA level, it also works on gene expression. Like we talked about, there's an anti-inflammatory component that we've talked and it helps with cellular regeneration. At the glandular level of the prostate, modulates the expression of genes responsible for tissue structure and inflammation. which encourages normal architecture and function while preventing collagen fibrosis and epithelial hypertrophy. So when we look at this, obviously for men there's going to be a systemic anti-aging effect.
Beyond just helping heal prostate inflammation or prostate enlargement, It can be considered a broad spectrum anti-aging peptide as well. So its ability to reactivate gene expression extends to multiple cell types and improves function in various organs. It aligns with observations that certain long-lived species naturally have higher levels of similar short peptides. For example, the long lived naked mole rat produces peptids analogous to prostamatics, whereas short-live rodents do not. By combating a fundamental aging mechanism, which is this heterochromatin accumulation, it may promote longevity at the cellular level.
Again, there's not a lot of FDA backing or anything like that around Prostomax. It's mostly sold by research companies. When we get to the use cases, I think these are going to be the two biggest ones for guys. So we got chronic prostatitis, so especially chronic ab-abacterial prostititis where Prostermax showed efficacy in animal studies by reducing inflammation and immune infiltration. So it may alleviate symptoms like pelvic pain, urinary frequency, especially at night, burning urination and discomfort.
And then we have BPH, like I said, benign prostate hyperplasia. So it supports healthy prostate cell proliferation and may slow hyperplastic growth and also normalize gene expression in the prostate tissue like we talked about. And then it also, and this is probably something that I will be doing in near future, can be used prophylactically by middle-aged and older men to maintain healthy prostrate function. And it's part of a lot of longevity programs, including people that I would recommend too. So the injectable form is the best.
You know, there's not really like a standardized dosing on the Injectable Form. I tell guys you can do anywhere from like 0.5 milligrams up to 2 milligrams per day. In cases of more severe BPH, you're going to want to err on like the two milligrams a day and do that for 30 days. Some people will say like 10 to 30, I like 30 to 60 days, to really try to draw out some of those effects and the effects usually last and you'll have that for like, you know, a few months and then you could use a cycle of like two to three times per year. And then there's the oral slash sublingual version of Libidon that you can use as well.
I would actually pair that with Prosimax if you were really trying to work on it, like I said earlier, so. We have injectable, obviously the oral capsules, you can use both of those. I did find that there was rectal suppositories, I don't know where you would buy one, but I would like to stick to injectables and orals myself. But you add two milliliters of actuarionic water to a 20 milligram vial, then that makes each milliliter 10 milligrams. And so if you wanted to do two milligrams, You would use 20 units on an insulin syringe.
for 30 to 60 days. And obviously if you did 60, days you need six bottles. If you do 30 days, you would need three bottles of that. This is a 20 milligram bottle. The cool thing about this, as with a lot of the bioregulators, there's a very high safety profile. So because these degrade into amino acids, There's very low chance that anything bad can go happen. You know, in my experience, some of the injectable bioregulars do have a little bit of sting when you inject them, but other than that, there really is no bad side effects. There's only benefit. In my experienced, you know not a lot of contraindications or anything like that.
You should be fine using it, again, because of amino acid. So I did want to talk about like some the results I've seen. I saw this, so someone was taking a three-week course of Prosimax at 750 micrograms per day, almost one milligram. They said their urine stream became steady and stronger, no longer making multiple back-to-back trips to the restroom. Before using Prosimax, I was waking up four times a night to urinate. During the peptide course, this reduced to only once per night. And for a lot of guys, that's what I see. For the guys that have to get up three to four time a day to use the bathroom, typically this will pull that back to like,
Sometimes one to two, a lot of cases is one, sometimes it's two. But I have heard of several different men that have reported back to me that this did cut their nighttime urinations down from like three to four to one two two which I think is huge because you're talking about your sleep, which obviously improves everything. So there definitely is efficacy in that sense. Another one I found, try to cycle saw major improvements in BPH and chronic prostatitis. So again, relief from constant ache or burning sensation, reduction in ejaculatory discomfort, and decreased pelvic floor tension,
which are all things that men deal with and a lot of times they won't talk about with each other, you know. Again, I wanted to put this in here. I have seen this help guys with their PSA and I've seen it not help with the PSAs. So I mean, everyone's going to be different, but I haven't seen guys that have taken this and their PSA went from like five to one to two, which I think is a pretty huge improvement considering nothing else is changing. so I do, just want to copy out that and say that like, is this guaranteed to bring your PSa down? No, along with healthy diet, lifestyle training, nutrition, fasting, eating, insulin controlled, all those things.
It does help. And I've seen guys like bring it down from five to one. Now you pair this with an SS 31. You pair it with like some of the other things we talk about. I think you can really move the needle in that sense. It's not a death sentence to have a higher PSA. So again, really, good results that I have seen for this. have heard a few guys say, you know, like they didn't really experience anything for it, but I for the price of what you're going to pay for, it does do really well. and most guys have pretty good benefit. I would say probably you're going to want to, you know, if you are a guy in your 50s, You're probably going want use this two to three times per year for
that 30 to 60 day cycle. And then just kind of repeat that throughout the year. You know not all of the prostate, excuse me, not the bioregulators are going need to do that. But I think for man, it's going be one of ones that you probably want have like more commonly in you stack. That's it for the slides. And that is my comprehensive review of Prostomax. To be honest, when you're looking in the research, there's not as much research around this one as some of the other injectable bioregulators, but I would say out of all the people out there, just because of nature of what I do, I've probably heard back from more guys that have used Prosta Max,
and I'd say it's like 80 to 90% positive. Again, does that always mean the PSA moves down? No. But I think for a lot of guys, at least in practice, if it is reducing their nighttime urinations, you know, from three to four to one to two, that's a huge win for them because they're able to sleep better. So hopefully this was helpful to you guys. If you've used Prosimax, definitely help the community out. Leave a comment down below with your experience. That'd be helpful too. Everyone else out there. And hopefully you can take this, use this information to change your life and improve. I know it wasn't as long as some of these other ones, but again, there's, not as much data and a lot of, these are pretty straightforward,
at least in these bioregular peptides. So again, thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart I have so Much gratitude for everyone that watches the channel and contributes and helps make what I do possible because again without you Guys, there would be none me. So thank You. Thank you. Love you, guys, and I will talk to you in the next one. Peace
